Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

For James Wake:

Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey.
Yeah, I know. There aren't even any words. And it's like the Dark Knight Symposium summarized in two minutes. But that's what I like about it.

Eh... for Miseria, well, I'll check what I have on my playlist...

The Agonist - Thank you pain ?

Because in this song, there are some words about blaming, and Miseria is blaming herself in most of the bad things what happen to her friends and family.

I have an entire playlist for every one of my characters (with ten or so songs on each, I know, not too impressive) that I put on repeat when I need some inspiration, And two of the songs from Vito’s playlist that I think fit him the most would be "The Fallen" by Franz Ferdinand and "I Can't Decide" by Scissor Sisters XD

So I just heard a song that so perfectly fit Amelia, that I had to come post it here:

Someone Else's Dream - Faith Hill

Lyrics:
Her momma's still got that sequin gown that she wore in '68
She taught her early how to smile that smile and wave from the parade
It took a whole lot of years and tears
For her momma to finally admit
No matter how many stitches and pins
That old dress was never gonna fit

She was daddy's little girl
Momma's little angel
Teacher's pet, pageant queen
She said "All my life I've been pleasin' everyone but me,
Waking up in someone else's dream"

Her daddy used to say, "You'll make a lovely bride someday
He'll ride up on big white horse and just carry you away"
It took twenty-five years and some broken vows
Before they'd finally see
There's a little more to love and life
Then fairy tales and hand me down dreams

She was daddy's little girl
Momma's little angel
Teacher's pet, pageant queen
She said "All my life I've been pleasin' everyone but me,
Waking up in someone else's dream"

Now she's got twenty-seven candles on her cake
And she means to make her life her own
Before there's twenty-eight

She was daddy's little girl
Momma's little angel
Teacher's pet, pageant queen
She said "All my life I've been pleasin' everyone but me,
Waking up in someone else's dream"

I think Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri describes Eli a fair bit in regards to his love affairs. I'm sure I could find more for him...I'll look!

I was listening to this song and I thought wouldn't it be funny if I said this was Jack's them song. Then I promptly burst into laughter and rofl-ed.

Theme from A Summer Place

If you want a laugh, look it up. XD
