The Coffeehouse

"Well, I actually almost threw it all away. I made a very serious miscalculation with my magic and nearly blew myself and my baby to nothing but sparks and cinders. Luckily Rob found me and rescued me from my own stupidity. I don't think I"ll be doing that again for awhile. He's still determined to not let me very far out of his sight, and, actually, I don't mind a bit. It truly has me thinking about just being a stay at home mom for awhile. My uncle used to say some things were worth dying for. Well, yes. That's true. But on the other hand, some things are worth fighting to stay alive for. And I think I'm starting to find those things now."

"Robert seems like a nice man.." he said grinning."Still, be careful with children...they're the future of the world" he said laughing. "Besides, they grow up to fast from what I've heard.." he said sighing. He looked at his watch, and then out the window.....

"They certainly do seem to grow up too fast. I can see it in those teens at my house already. Is something on your mind, Dane? You look a bit preoccupied. "

"Huh? Oh sorry Khaat" he said. "There's just alot on my mind since recent days" he said. He broke away from the window and put his eyes back on Khaat. He grinned and his eyes sparkled. Khaat was a good friend, always had been. Always will be, and an even better mother. He could tell all this, not from his training of profiling someone but her personality...

"I know what you mean," Khaat said quietly. "I'm really going to miss Shacklebolt. I was one of the few that stood by him no matter what. I can't say I feel the same way about the new headmaster. No offense, I know he's your boss and all, but we certainly see the world through very different views. I guess I still am a Gryffindor at heart, and I am very concerned for Hogwarts now."

"Majere does not run the Ministry." Dane said more abrupt this time. "He just thinks he can cause Diggory is ill." he said. "I personally can think of one hundred others that can fit the position of Minister and Headmaster better than that half-ass Majere.." he said.

Khaat smiled, trying hard not to laugh. He shared her sentiments exactly. "Well said," she laughed, unable to contain it. "I'd like to see him try to stand up to the founders of the old Order. As I recall it, they were unstoppable except, pretty much, by Voldemort himself. I think they would find Majere laughable and fairly pathetic, myself. I try to ignore him as much as possible."

"I have nothing to say about the Order of the Phoenix..." he said breaking off. "If you ask me I prefer not to take sides..I work alone for the good of the Wizard world" he said. He said, he laughed when she said she preferred to ignore Majere. "We all wish to ignore him." he grinned. "Do you happen to work with the Order?" he asked.

"As you said, " Khaat said, "I prefer not to talk about current doings of the Order. I'm just saying they had a pretty remarkable history, that's all. I just want somebody willing and able to challenge Majere. I guess that's all I really want. Nobody seems to have the guts. I can get into verbal fisticuffs with him, but now certainly is no kind of time for me to actively try to battle him, even if I wanted to."

"That Jess Potter kid...he's gutsy..." Dane said grinning. "I bet he takes him on...if he doesn't I will see to it that Majere is killed in the mots horrible way possible" he said angrily. "Other than that I have a plan on sneaking into his office and wrecking it up..." he grinned
