Khaat Lupin's Country Home

The sharp crack awoke Gar slightly.
Why had Khaat aparated to her room? It didn't make sense. Something was wrong.
He rolled out of bed and stumbled down the hall, still feeling weak.
"Someone!" he shouted. "I think something's wrong with Khaat!"

Miseria got up from her bed really fast when she heard Garulia calling for help. And then he mentioned Khaat's name. She sighed quietly and ran downstairs, in the room where Garulia and Khaat were. Both of them were looking ill, and Khaat was on the floor, almost sitting. “Garulia, can you get some water, please?“ she asked him, and then she took Khaat's hands. Though, it was complicated for her as well, she was feeling weak after the news of her pregnancy, she pulled her up with all her streinght and helped her to lay down on the bed. She took one blanket, and put it on her, hands shaking with every move what she was making. What's wrong?
She placed more pillows under her head, looking carefully at her. “Do you need anything what would make you feel better?“ she asked in troubled voice.

"Thank you," Khaat said, finding her hands shaking violently for some unknown reason. It wasn't like her at all to shake--ever. "I think I maybe overdid it today," she confessed. "I spent most of the day shopping in London. Maybe I'm not up to that right now. I'm really sorry to have scared you both, and to have awakened you, Gar. I'm really sorry. I'm just getting the hang of this thing, I guess. But I think I'm just going to stay here for awhile, if that's alright." She decided that maybe she needed to just lay down for awhile and hope the awful feeling that something was wrong with her baby would pass.

Miseria sat next to her, and nodded. “You Must stay here. I will do all the work,“ she said then. Yes, she could do a lunch, and dinner by herself. Khaat was caring but everyone had their limits. And she had her own. “But now, do You need something what could make you feel better?“ she asked again, pushing her hair away from her face.

"I think I just need some rest," Khaat smiled, "I'm just feeling really tired. I went shopping in London and bought all the maternity clothes I'll need. I don't ever want Rob seeing me as being fat and frumpy. So I wanted som really nice things. Now I'm just really tired."

Jess walked into Khaats room in her hand a mug if tea aand jack close behins "Khaat , my turn , here , you gave it to me now it's your turn." she said handing her the tea while jack gently sat her up by propping pillows behind her , Jessica sat on the bed next to Miseria "You have to take it easy, both of you" she said with a warm smile "These are your first baby's and your bodys need time to adjust to it , mine is just because i am such a stoborn woman and won't stop stressing " she took Jacks hand in hers " Khaat ,Miseria, rest , jack and myself will do something for you to eat for when you wake , I'll let your mother know your resting, thanks to your father i feel much better" she placed her hand on her baby bump and smiled "they've actually stoppped now and i feel now ten times better." she looekdat her and hoped that what she had said made sense and would help calm them especialy Khaat she hated to see her so worked up when all Jessica could see was a health pregnant woman who didn't understand what her body was telling her.

Garulia gave Khaat a quick hug and turned to Jess.
"I want you ALL to rest. I've been cooking for myself and someone else for months now, just tell me what you want and I can cook it. Might get some help from Jack, I guess. Lots of people. But I can do it."
He smiled at them.

"Thank you, Jess, " Khaat said softly. "Do you suppose I'm going to get adjusted to this?" She took a sip of the tea. She felt its calming magic starting to work its way through her system with the first sip. Her father's magic was powerful. That was what made him such a great potionsmaster. "This helps," Khaat admitted. "Maybe I should not have spent so many hours in Sevile Row today. Jess, is it wrong for me not to ever want him to see me ugly? That morning I woke up with bruises all over my face and all that dried blood in my hair, I couldn't wait to get to the shower, and he never said a word. Not one word. I know if the tables were turned and I had to look at him that way, I probably wouldn't even see the blood and bruises. But for some reason, I keep worrying about what I'm going to look like seven or eight months from now and how he'll feel about me then. And actually, Gar, that sounds great. My mom and dad can help you and Jack. There is a muggle grill outside the back door. Maybe you guys can grill us some really great steaks or something?"

"That sounds EXCELLENT!" Gar replied happily. "What kind of steak do you guys have? Oh god, I love love love steak!"
Thoughts of every kind of steak rushed through his mind.

"There is a whole muggle freezer full of any kind of steak you want. You can use magic to defrost it. Me--i prefer a good filet mignon, very lean, done medium or medium well, please. And Mis makes some really excellent fried potatoes with onions, and makes really super great salad. Maybe she could do the side dishes with my mom, if she's up to it, and you guys can grill us a cow or two." She laughed gently.
