Sammy followed him as he changed their direction. She could tell by his running that she would be able to out run him if she needed to. She smiled and ran next to him. "Thanks for bringing me along. I really needed this." Sammy said this to him hoping that he understood why she needed it.

Varod looked at her, the smile still on his face.
"Yeah, you were really out of it," he confirmed, and they were upon the ruin. It was a castle, really. Not very big, maybe 4 stories, but he had seen the dungeon. It spread about a mile beneath the Earth. Not to mention the treasure vault beneath it.
"Ready?" he asked happily walking up to large brass doors.

Sammy smiled as he asked her if she was ready to infiltrate the castle that stood in front of them. "Yep I'm ready when you are. You lead the way." Sammy said to him making sure that he knew to lead the way. She didn't want lead them into a trap. So she got into her stance awaiting his lead.

Varod ran forward, sword outstretched as he flung the doors wide...right into a huge bunch of redcaps! Their little hands brandishing sharp knives.
He did a forward flip, beheading one and kicking two in the head, hearing satisfactory crunches, coming from them as blood seeped from the heads and he swung around towards the others.

Sammy smiled at his enthusiasm, she could tell that he loved doing this. She followed him in the same way that he went in and then made sure to be fast and graceful. She jumped onto the shoulders of the first redcap to come near her, choping its head off with a loud crunch. She then jumped down as he fell and then stuck her sword into the gut of the next on coming man. She smiled as the sword stuck and then she pulled it out and cleaned it off with her tounge. She then faced varod ready for more.

Varod smiled, ignoring the blood on his sword seeing as he didn't like redcap blood much.
Doing a quick spin, he took out the remaining few and picked some galleons up off the floor and threw half to her.
"That's the first of our spoils!" he said happily.

Sammy smiled at him and caught the few coins that he threw her way. She put them in a pocket and then walked over to him. "So where to next?" She asked him wondering if it was going to get more interesting than this.

"I saw a mountain troll down in the dungeons," Varod said happily. "I didn't wanna fight it alone, wanna tackle him?"
He smiled happily at her and looked down the stairs to his right and pointing down into the dungeon where there was a loud roar.

Sammy followed the way he was pointing with her gaze and heard the roar from down below. She looked back up at him and smiled. "Definately! I'll watch your back and you watch mine and no magic unless someone is really hurt, got it?" Sammy asked him wanting to make sure that it was going to be all far fighting. She then waited for him to lead the way.

"You got it!" Varod sad happily and charged down the stairs...and was imediately met with a club! He did a flip over it and jabbed at the huge creature in front of him. It had clearly escaped from the cage. As green blood seeped from a small wound it seemed not to notice and charged again.
