breakfast at khaats

Rob raised an eyebrow but smiled at the kid who had given Khaat some money. He seemed grateful enough and that’s all he could have asked for. However he was quite bemused by the name. It was unusual but nice in the same way. Perhaps it was the hair that made Rob look at him strangely but Miseria’s blue hair always made him take a step back until he got to know and love her.
“Hey, Garulia.” Rob said, wondering where the name had come from. “You can call me Rob I guess or whatever floats your boat as long as its not something cruel and unusual.”

"Keep your money, Gar," Khaat smiled, "All I ask is that you feel at home. An excellent show by the way. It will be great at the wedding. Gar is going to be Jack's best man of his wedding to Jess Darkangel, and jack has asked him to perform too."

Gar shook his head and made sure she kept it.
"Fantastic to meet you," he said to Rob, smiling wide. "Did the rest of you enjoy my show?" he asked the people in front of him. "It's always fun to perform!"

Rob smirked and wondered how Khaat would match Gar’s stubbornness. He could see her refusing again but whatever she chose to do wasn’t a problem. Money was no obstacle for him and even if it was he could always pump some out of her sister seen as she was all but stuffing galleons into her mattresses and pillow cases at night in an attempt to get rid of it all. “The show was great!” Rob praised. “But keep the sword throwing to outside. Khaat’s couches are fairly comfy."

"All the better reason to redecorate if that happens," Khaat smiled at Rob. She tucked the galleons in her purse, quietly tucking it in a separate picket from her other money. She knew exactly how she was going to use this money, but she had no intention of telling Gar. Not yet.

Gar smiled and nodded his thanks at Rob, then turned back to Khaat.
"Let's go get my stuff, okay?" he asked her, grinning ear-to-ear at the praises for his performance.
I bet this is gonna be fun, he thought happily.

"Sounds good to me, " Khaat smiled She got up. When everyone else was done with the bench, she "got rid" of it again. It didn't seem as cold to her this morning, and she didn't know whether it really was warmer or whether it was because she was surrounded by so many people that she loved and that she knew loved her back. It felt good to walk in the sunshine today, and to have Rob back beside her, where she felt she belonged. Archangel seemed to sense it too, and he used the clear crisp morning to soar high above them.

Garulia rushed ahead, calling "follow me!" over his shoulder. He ran all the way into the field outside of Hogsmede and found his tent, just as it was when he left. Running inside, bag over shoulder, he made the props vanish and started stuffing the bag with items: his video games, laptop with wireless, T.V., etc. etc.
"Alright," he yelled. "I think that's all my stuff that I'll need for my room!" He walked outside and made the tent compress itself and bewitched it and his bag to follow them.

Khaat laughed out loud. He sure didn't take long to pack for his room. If she had young men figured out, especially this one, he either had a bag full of zonko's, magical items, or muggle technology. One of the three, and she wasn't sure that she knew what Gar's preferences were just yet. "Alright, then. Let's go home, then, "Khaat said, and started walking back to the house. "I wonder if they burned the other frittata."

Garulia smiled broadly and laughed.
"They probably did!" he joked, still laughing as they walked back to Khaat's house. "Alright, then," he said when they arrived, running inside. "I'll go get my room sitiated!"
Once inside, he pulled up his own portable desk and sat it next to the bed, deciding to use the dresser Khaat had up here but using his own desk for his laptop. He set his laptop on the desk so he could access it easily, then turned to the blank stretch of wall and put his in-wall T.V. up magically, and had his cable up in a flash, not needing electricity or anything because he had magic.
He plugged in his games, his DVD player, and made it like home. Finally the finishing touches were setting up his own bedspread, which was just a white sheet under a black blanket and a black pillow. It wasn't much, but his mother had made them by hand.
