Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Breakfast and Stationary Empty Breakfast and Stationary

Sunday mornings had always greeted Marcus poorly when he’d been at Hogwarts. Sundays like these were peaceful. Sundays when he could wake up under his own steam and not have to worry about homework or anything of the like were truly wonderful. He could wake up and roll over without fear of falling out of bed like he’d done many times while at Hogwarts. The sun would wash over his back; over the healing wound the woman had caused. He could fumble about lazily in search of his book and finally recline into a pile of pillows and read a few more chapters of the novel the landlord had lent him. He adored those mornings and he thanked the Gods that he’d been gifted with one of those mornings today. He had until eleven to get some breakfast downstairs but the idea of getting up wasn’t particularly thrilling.

Everyone had to do it sometime though.

So, Marcus dragged himself from bed and abandoned the book. He opened the bathroom door and shed the trousers he’d worn to bed before jumping under the shower head and turning the dial. After showering, Marcus dried his hair with the wand he’d bought at the branch of Ollivander’s in Hogsmeade and got dressed in the clothes he’d picked up from Gladrags the day before. He was definitely feeling wealthier than he had been. Working behind the bar during the evenings and putting boxes on shelves in the Quidditch Supplies store during the day was definitely beginning to pay – literally. He had enough money do actually do stuff now but he was more worried about keeping himself clothed and magically adept. He was of age so the Ministry didn’t need to worry themselves with the task of tracking his magic. He might’ve still been missing but he was living his life the way he’d always wanted to – sort of.

There was still the problem regarding his family and the fact that he hadn’t actually owled them to tell them that he was in fact alive. Hopefully though, he’d be able to remedy that today.

After donning his new pair of shoes and throwing on a black outer robe, Marcus descended down into the Three Broomsticks. He smiled at the bartender and wandered over to one of the tables. He took a seat and picked up the breakfast menu. One of the waitresses wandered over to him and Marcus looked up from his menu. He gave her his order and watched her walk away before turning his attention to the napkin by his elbow. He picked it up, sliding it out from underneath the cutlery, and began to fold it. He wasn’t entirely sure what he was making but if he remembered rightly, it should have turned into a crane.

It was finally Sunday- the day Alexis most anticipated. The only day where she could actually relax and just do what she wanted. She loved being able to go out during the day and enjoy the enitre day. But this particular day she just wanted to stay in bed and sleep, or maybe perhaps look for the book she had lost. It was one of her favorite books, The Dead &The Gone. She had read it over and over.. and over again. She loved that it was about when the world was supposed to end a while ago. She also wanted to get some breakfast before it was over, but her body refused to get up. She was tired from something, but tired from what? Maybe she was just being lazy, or she had hurt herself and she couldn't remember. Still in her bed she shrugged and turned herself over to lay on her back.

She was staring up at the ceiling, when she finally decided to get up. She sighed softly and jumped off her bed, heading for the showers.

She opened the door and walked into the bathroom. She took off her pajamas and walked under the falling warm water. She turned off the water and walked out of the bathroom, a towel covering her. She searched in her trunk for a fresh set of clothes. She took out a bright red shirt and white pants, she hurriedly put the clothes on and ran out of the Ravenclaw common room. She didn't want to eat breakfast at Hogwarts so she walked out to Hogsmeade, hoping to eat at The Three Broomsticks.

She made her way to The Three Broomsticks, though the crowded streets of Hogsmeade and finally stepped in. She looked around and saw not many people, despite it being Sunday and the streets being crowded. She didn't feel like sitting alone so she walked over to a table with only one other person there. She smiled down at the sitting person. "Hello, is it alright if I join you?" she asked politely.

Sitting in restaurants and inns by one’s self gave optimum chances to people watch – something Marcus adored doing. The Three Broomsticks was the best place to do it, too. People were in and out constantly and dramas were always unfolding around the pub. If you were to sit there long enough you’d gain enough information to find out what the Hogsmeade Elite were up to when they weren’t down in London working at the Ministry. Marcus understood that many people liked to come and live in Hogsmeade when their high-powered careers didn’t need them in London. He also understood that many of those people were moving down onto the South Coast where there were more opportunities for both the breadwinners and their wives who claimed to be increasingly bored by village life; apparently they too missed the hustle and bustle (as well as the gossip) that came with living in the big cities. Sadly though, from what Marcus could tell, their husbands didn’t want them there with them.

He listened intently to the goings on around him as he folded the napkin. Marcus tapped into a conversation between a wealthy business man and his wife who, by the sounds of it, had recently found out about his infidelity. Marcus smirked to himself and looked up when he heard approaching footsteps. It was the waitress, returning with his tea and glass of orange juice. He thanked her and smiled before watching her go once more. He dropped the napkin and picked up the teacup, curling his hands around it so as not to drop it. He sipped at the tea and closed his eyes before allowing the warm liquid to flow down his throat. Marcus hummed happily to himself before placing the teacup down and reaching over to pick up the newspaper that was on the table. He unfolded it and began to read.

“Hello, is it alright if I join you?”

Marcus looked up and found himself looking at a Hogwarts student. Actually, it was even better than just a student. What he had before him was a female student; a female werewolf student. Marcus blinked rapidly and closed his newspaper. He didn’t say anything to her but he gestured for her to sit before pushing the orange juice across the table towards her.

Like always there was some sort of drama in places like this. There was always something that couldn't be kept in and it made it's way out in the most inappropriate of places. But if Alexis was there to listen to whatever goes on, she can't help but to smile to herself; like she was now. She couldn't help it, not when she was hearing the fight that was going on now. A man and his wife, fighting because he has cheated on her, just made her smile. She didn't know why (and she tried to hide that she was smiling about the fight,) but she just was.

She swayed back and forth slowly(a habit she tries to break) waiting for an answer from the male she had approached. She hadn't noticed before, but he was the same as her; he was a werewolf. Though he had probably been a wolf longer than her. Everyone most likely was. Even though she had been a wolf for about two years now, she still wasn't used to it, the transformation and everything was still so new, as if she had been changing for the first time. She thought she would have been used to it,but she wasn't so what could she do? Just deal with it was the only thing her mind told her to do about it. She had no choice but to listen to it, so that was what she did; she dealt with it.

Snapping out of her thoughts she remembered that he too was a werewolf and this made her smile deepen. She had so far met only about 6 other wolves, and it seemed that vampires had most of the control of the school, between the two races. She continued to smile as she sat down and looked at the glass of orange juice that was now in front of her. She picked it up and took a small sip - a very small sip and place the glass ack down in front of her, where it was before she picked it up.
