Outside Honeydukes

Khaat had been in Honeydukes buying a wide assortment of wizarding candies for her family. She knew her parents didn't get the unique wizard candies much now that they lived so far from Hogwarts. She had bought flowers earlier, roses, and intended to take them to Remus's memorial spot later. It was Christmas time, and she wanted to represent the family in remembering him. They usually went together, but she wanted to go alone this year.

She had Archangel with her, as always, and had a sack of raspberries in the large black leather shoulder tote she carried. She had stuffed her Honeydukes purchases in the tote, slid in the roses carefully so as not to crush them, and drew out the sack of raspberries to feed him. She was planning on having him deliver her candies to Cornwall later in the day, if she didn't just magically send them herself. She had heard there was a new book on Nicolas Flamel at the bookstore and debated on going and buying it to see if there was any new information that might help her understand her magical necklace, so she turned and started to walk that direction.

Miseria walked trough the streets, hands in pockets and mostly ignoring the looks what she got because of her hair. Yet she loved the look of it. But since this incident in Khaat's house, she hasn't slept for a long time. She looked tierd but when she made up her smile, no one would ever suspect her nightmares what she had. It was just simple shock, to be sertain.

Suddenly she raised her head when she saw Khaat. That really made her smile. She hadn't seen anybody from her friends or familiar faces around lately. "Khaat!" she called and ran there, stopping when she reached her side. "Oah... How's going?" she asked in a worried voice.

Narcissa was walking through Hogsmeade when once again she spotted little Miss Lupin and the Hufflepuff that was in Khaat's house. She smirked to herself and walked over to the two girls. The Hufflepuff was out of breath but seemed well enough. Narcissa shook her head, smiling and turned to speak to both girls. "How are you both today?"

"Miseria!" Khaat smiled, giving her a hug, "Good to see you." She looked at the beautiful young woman and frowned. "You look tired. Not sleeping well? I wouldn't be surprised. That was a lot of high powered political ugliness at my house. You handled it well. It's unfortunate that students have to see so much before they're ready."

She saw Narcissa coming, and it made her smile, "Good morning, Narcissa. Its good to see you this morning. I was just buying some wizard candy to send to my parents. Its just a nice nostalgic treat for them. They love the wizarding chocolates, but they don't get it much unless I send it to them. What brings you back to my neighborhood today?"

Miseria hugged Khaat back, however, she felt weird when doing that. She wasnt use to such things. She nodded as an asnwer and turned herself to Narsicca:"Hello," she said, not knowing how she should call her. Would Narsicca be good enough or she needs to use Malfoy instead? "I'm feeling pretty good, thanks," she said, not telling the truth. She was feeling sick and tierd, to be certain.

After escaping the Hospital wing, her throat has been hurting as if vampire has bit it. And she was also paler than usual, although, she was wearing warm clothes this time. But with a smile on her face, she pretended to look great. And to talk about her presents - she had already sent them to her parents and all of her friends.

Ana walked down the streets of Hogsmeade humming softly. A few Slytherins stopped her a little ways from Honeydukes and snickered. "Well if it isn't the Russian." One of them said mocking her. "Why don't you go back to your beloved country Russian." he continued to say. Ana didn't know what to say so she backed up slightly not wanting to be anywhere near them in case they pulled out their wands on her.

Khaat frowned. She thought she saw the young Miseria flinch a little, as if something hurt. And there was very little color to her face. Khaat was usually very observant, and that made her like the work at St. Mungos. She decided to try something a little different. "You look like you need a little something to drink to make you feel better. Come with me, and lets see if we can take care of that." She looked at Narcissa, "She has definately looked better. Don't you agree? I think a bit of attention is in order."


Then Khaat noticed a young Russian student being picked on by some unkind students. Khaat walked a few steps over to the student. "Don't let them get to you. They're just bullies. Hi, I'm Khaat. Come join us. I think we might be going to get something hot to drink to warm up."

Shaing her head, Miseria turned herself around when she heard slytherins talking over the streets. Sighing, she watched as they picked on a russian girl but when they took out their wands, Miseria raised her eyebrows:"Wait a minute, please," she said to Khaat and Narcissa and took out her own wand. Scowling, she walked over the street and slightly she moved her hand:"Expelliarmus!" she said quietly, catching their wands.

Ana looked at her in shock wondering why she helped her. "Thank you." She said softly as she looked at the shocked faces of the Slytherin students. They looked at Ana with murderous glares as they took off up the street. 'Crap. Now i'm really in trouble with those Slytherins.' she thought sighing as she began thinking of what to do.

Khaat caught a glint of anxiety in the girl's eyes and attempted to distract her. "I'm Khaat, this is Miseria, and Mrs. Malfoy. I don't think those boys will bother you again. Young boys have a taste for mischief sometimes, but not generally harmful. I don't think you'll find a lot of trouble from them. If it gets out of hand, just let me know. Perhaps a gentle word from a professor will make them rethink their behaviors. I'm a substitute professor at Hogwarts. You're among friends."
