Honeydukes

Romeo had gone up to Hogsmede for the weekend with the family. They often did this whenever their parents had the Monday off, it meant they got time to spend together in an all wizarding village. Of course Romeo had seen enough of the village on the weekend visits that the fun of it had almost worn off, although it was good for his younger brother and sister who hadn't been to the village during Hogwarts term time.

The Saturday afternoon sunlight was shining a mysterious orange as it filtered through the clouds, casting an Amber shade upon the cobbled streets. The dark Slytherin had already been rambling in nearby cave then enjoyed a good pub grub in the Three Broomsticks and was now in Honeydukes with a pocket full of galleons and sickles looking to purchase a large supply of magical sweets.

'Acid pops or licorice snaps?' Romeo muttered to himself examining the two variety of sweets. Out of the corner of his eye he could see his sister and his Mum stocking up on Bertie Botts every flavour beans. His Dad was at the till paying for his brothers chosen goodies and... A girl with blonde hair who Romeo recognised as an older Slytherin had stepped into Honeydukes.

Emily had came here with her father, he needed here something and Em just wanted to come too. Soon they decided to go both on their ways and meet up after on the Leaky Cauldron after they are done with their things. The girl will go there after couple of hours, she didn't mind if father did wait there or what ever he did.

Soon she entered in Honeydukes and looked there around. She just came to here, she had no plan to buy here something actually. She just looked at all this sweets here and sighed. She was not one of this things actually. She saw here even her fellow housemate, who was boy and couple years younger than her. But yeah she looked at these all sweets still and thought why she even liked this stuff when she was younger.

Romeo put down his sweets and headed over. It wasn't that they were the best of friends and has rarely shared conversation apart from after winning a quidditch match and celebrating in the dungeons or if Romeo was sat with the students in Emily's year, yet, he simply couldn't pass up on speaking to her - after all she was both blonde and beautiful.

'Hi.' He said, showing each one of his pearly white teeth as he walked over to Emily, seeing his Father glance over and let out a chuckle admiring that his son was following in his footsteps. 'Emily isn't it?' He asked, knowing full well that she was called Emily Night, although he never wanted to come off as over keen or stalkerish. He found it refreshing to formally introduce himself, after all, technically they never had although like Romeo knew Emily's name chances are se knew his, after all he was popular among the girls.

Emily just looked at this all sweets and even did pick up some but soon as she saw that boy to come to her she did but the sweets down. She couldn't really recall where did she actually had seen him before and what and why. She thought it may be have in common room or so but they really haven't talked before.

"Hi," she said back to him then, she tried to remember the boys name too but she was never good with names or such stuff. She was not the smartest kid actually. "Yeah, that's my name," she said with smile. Mostly she is yeah called as Emily Night, few people know about her middle name which was Selene. Soon she even did remember boys name if she thought about it. "You are Romeo, right?" she asked then.

'Yeah that's right.' He said, not moving his eyes from his and keeping a fixed gaze, his smile still etched across his cheeks 'So what brings you up to Hogsmede?' He asked. Not that he was bothered about the answer but it was part of his game: disarm with charm.

He noticed that both his Mum and sister and now finished shopping and were about to come over to tell him that they were leaving when his dad, Blaise, held them back and whispered something. 'See you back at the cottage.' He said, merely moving his lips without making any sound as to not distract Emily from Romeo.

She did smile back to there. "Oh, Just at home was boring and I had nothing else to do. Father came here so I did came to with him but he did go somewhere else, I don't know where and I don't even care very much," she answered to the question. "And You?" she then asked back.

Emily just looked at the boy and smiled. She didn't notice his parents and sister at the moment. She actually didn't know them and had never met them before, so yeah.

'Interesting.' He replied, although he wasn't interested he was simply being polite. 'Me? Family holiday, my parents are about the village somewhere.' He said off handedly, ignoring the fact that they were just with him. He didn't want to seem like he was overly attached to his parents. That would sound uncool.

'Have you seen the new Droobles Best Blowing Bubble Gum?' He asked, showing her the packets in his hand. 'Summer edition. When you blow bubbles they fill the room with bubbles the shape of sandcastles and what not.' Romeo wanted to keep casual so it only seemed right to discuss their surroundings and he was a fan of the magical gum that blew bubbles from the mouth, usually neon blue but it was a change to blow sandcastle and beachball bubbles from his lucious lips. Oh those lips. They were experienced in the bubble blowing business, and in other things.

"Sounds good," Emily said, even if yeah she didn't really meant like that but she tried to be polite too. She actually haven't had that kind of family weekends very much lately or she just don't want to attend there.

"I have heard about it but never seen it yet or tasted," she said then to him. "Is it goo?" she asked too. Emily was fan of this kind of gums too but yeah she haven't bought them very much, she doesn't spend very much money on the gum. Mostly it goes to her clothes and jewelry and such stuff.

Romeo nodded. 'Yeah, they're pretty good - some new flavours too. Do you want me to buy you some? My treat!' He added, grinning as he saw the stand and reached out to pick up a packet of the limited edition Droobles Best Blowing Gum. He felt like it would be lame to talk too much about the gum, especially to a seventh year so he stood there and simply admired her golden hair before saying:

'How do you keep your hair in such good condition?' Not that he needed tips his hair was short and smart. It suited him, although he was anxious to start growing proper facial hair - he planned to shave it to outline his jaw line, make it even more prominent. Romeo was rather fond of his image and was open to try anything to enhance his appearence.

Whilst he waited for Emily to respond he caught his relfection in the mirror and edited his posture, tilting his head slightly forward and lightly pressing his lips together to make them stand out... So kissable. Then, for the finishing touch, he threw in the warm, sultry eyes.

Maybe if their rendezvous in Honeydukes went well he would ask her to have a drink in the three broomsticks afterwards? Give them chance to talk.

"Sure you can buy me some," she said with smile to him. She thought it was very nice of him to buy something to her. It was first time when some one ever wanted to buy her something his/her own.

"Different beauty products. Shampoo, balsam and such others stuff, I don't remember names of this things, so can't tell exactly what I am using," she said with smile to Romeo. Girl liked her hair too very much. It was quite hard to take care of it most of times. It takes also long time to wash them and so on. She likes to be clean and neat.

Emily just smiled to boy and actually looked on his lips. She didn't know what to do exactly, would be kissing good idea or not. She didn't know it yet.
