Ice cream... and winter?!

Miseria was never that kind of a person who would sit somewhere and eat candies. However, she was sitting right now on one little chair behind a round table and eating chocolate and strawberry ice cream, looking at people who were mostly doing the same thing. Although, it was winter, no one simply didn't care of it. The reason was simple - Christmas. People came here with friends to eat some sweet ice cream and talk about their little family parties.

She liked to look at them when they were walking in and out. There were every kind of witches and wizards. Even old ones. Now that there are good dentists in wizard world, they could eat sweet things as well. She pushed her blue hair aside and looked around. People didn't even look at her what was good. For her. She had never loved the great attention.

Robert once again escaped the family manor for the day and sought out the ice cream shop in Diagon Alley. After forcing down some stew his grandmother had made him eat the night before he needed something frozen and decidedly vegetarian. He'd gone back on his food preferences and had been ill quite badly which his grandmother took as an insult. He had reminded her that he was a vegetarian but no avail as she went to the kitchen to make another stew while muttering something about perfecting it.

So Robert had decided not to return to the house until after Christmas where he could hopefully escape excess meat the Whitlock women seemed to eat. He shuddered at the thought of that poor turkey that would be sitting on the table less than a week away. Robert shook the pessimistic thoughts from his mind and pushed open the door of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.

Robert walked over to the counter and ordered some strawberry ice cream. The woman behind the counter smiled at him and gave him his usual huge amount of the light pink frozen treat. Robert paid her and picked up his bowl. He turned and looked around the shop, searching for a place to sit. He spied a girl sitting behind a round table near the door but not so near.

The first thing he noticed were the peculiar colours in her hair. Robert grinned and wandered over there, intent on asking the young witch why she wanted her hair that colour. It didn't seem to be something Hogwarts encouraged unless she was some kind of overly patriotic Ravenclaw.

"Hey." Rob said, stopping by her table. "Do you mind if I sit here with you?"

Looking at the people who came in and some of them went out, Miseria was really suprised when someone came talking to her. "Um, yeah, sure," she said, shrugging. She wouldn't say No to a company, although, he seemed too old for a sitting next to a fifteen year old girl. But no one even noticed that and she actually didn't care who was talking at sitting next to her.

She looked down at her ice cream what was half-eaten and she smirked for a second. She loved this tasty and ice-cold thing. That was better than a chocolate, what she also loved. Jabbing the spoon into ice cream, she looked up at him, wondering if he was thinking about her hair. Everyone did, actually. And people thought that she may be in Slytherin because of her look. Only people who were with the colder attitude were dressing like that.
