"Yeah I've got my reasons." she said looking at him, "And a pretty good one I just don't like to talk about it." she said as she grabbed a cup of punch and sipped on it. "What about you? Same?" she asked curiously. She really hated the fact that he had managed to get her under the truth serum just because she had a valid reason for not liking vampires.

"Pretty much," he said enitrely "know that incident that happened in moaning myrtles bathroom? Well I had something to do with it. Long story. Wasn't as bad as mine right?" He felt like he was going too deep into something and felt like keeping quiet at that moment.

"Probably worse." she said looking at him. "He put me under a truth serum to ask me how I felt about half breeds when I am one and I don't exactly like vampires." she said looking at him, "My father was murdered by one and it was within a few days of the murder." she explained looking at him, "Its a long story as well I don't really talk about it. Had it not been for the minister who knows what would have happened."

"I'm very sorry to hear about your dad," said looking at her with worried eyes "and Shacklebolt has to answer for this. He has to be sacked or something!" He never liked that guy in the first place. Ever since he had become part of the staff, he's always been out for Danny.

"Its fine." she said looking at him, "Diplomatic immunity on my part will get him in enough trouble for it." she said looking at him. Even though her father was dead and no longer the German minister of magic the ministry from Germany still supported her diplomatic immunity as long as she wished to remain in a different country. "I'm sure he won't be here for much longer anyway."

"Oh I agree completely." she said just as rationally as he had suggested it. "But I think they are going to wait until they have more on him than just that. Which if I'm right they are getting enough of it pretty quickly. Especially with him not keeping hogwarts as safe as it had been."

Danny nodded yet he knew that Shack had enough fingerprints on everything to be sacked. He wouldn't be surprized if he would suddenly call for martial law and put everyone in stockades. It would fit his personality as well. "Well he won't be here for long I hope," he said almost wishing. "So what do you want to do?" he asked with a grin

"I don't know." she said looking at him and then around at the people that were there. "I've never been to a ball at a school before so I don't exactly know how these things go other than with politcal functions." she said laughing nervously.
