Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Narcissa didn't know whether to blush or cut the man's head off with some sort of spell. He was insufferable and couldn't seem to make his mind up and be either charming or a pain. She desperately wanted to give him some of the verbal that her family were famous for but she refrained and started to plan the easiest way to kill the insufferable man.

"I am a Black first and foremost, never forget that. I married into the Malfoy family but despite that little fact I will point out that no Malfoy is stupid or incompetent. They merely choose to channel their skills and assets in other ways." Narcissa said calmly. "The Malfoy children deserve a lot better than that school. I told Draco and Astoria to send the girls to Beauxbatons and Scorpius to Durmstrang but obviously he didn't take notice of me."

Narcissa raised an eyebrow and scowled at the man once more. She could speak about Remus Lupin if she wanted to. He was related to her, albeit distantly but still he was. Just because her sister killed him and her niece doesn't mean she couldn't speak about the man. He was kind to her in school even if she didn't return the pleasantries when out of the sanctuary that was the library.

"I do have grandchildren." Narcissa nodded with a small smile. "But could you decide whether you want to be charming or insufferable, James?" Narcissa said, sitting up a little.

''And then we come on a first name basis'', he said with a theatrical hand gesture. He took another sip of the tea. ''You are a Black, just as I am a Wilson, although I suppose that the fact that I am related to Godric Gryffindor, although I do not know how, play no role here. But never mind the family background, it is not the family that makes a man, it is a man that makes the family'', he said very calmly.

He looked at Narcissa. Interesting, she was beautiful. He nodded slightly with his head.
''And you chose those two schools? They are even worse than Hogwarts, Durmstrang being better than Beauxbatons.'', he said with a laugh at the end.

''Do I want to be charming or moronic? Well, that depends.... if I am going to be charming, will it work?'', Wilson asked.

"You bore me, Wilson. I told you what you wanted to know, did I not? What else can you possibly want?" Khaat sighed. She wanted him to leave now. She kept thinking of the vial of poison sitting out in the open on the coffee table that she had not had the chance to move before her guests arrived. The curse hammered so hard at her now, in her fatigue, that she was starting to find it hard to concentrate on him and keeping up her ruse.

''Lupin, are you alright? You seem to be a little... disturbed? Would you like me to take you to your bed? Would you like a medicine or something?'', Wilson asked still looking at Narcissa.

"Well said." Narcissa said with a smirk. "Without the man there would be no family just a word. I suppose the Death Eaters fail to look beyond the blood to see the purity of the person and its family." Narcissa said thoughtfully, wrapping a blonde curl around her finger.

Narcissa's eyes remained soft as she watched him but her facial expression changed and her smile turned to a scowl when he mentioned how well the schools preformed. She wouldn't have chosen Beauxbatons for the girls at all but would have rather convinced the Headmaster at Durmstrang to take the girls as well as Scorpius.
"Astoria favours Beauxbatons unfortunately.” Narcissa said, putting the smile back on her face.

“Charming would be much preferred, James.” Narcissa said softly, dropping the curl and letting it fall back into place with the rest of her hair that sat around her shoulders. She was sure that charming would be much better than having an insufferable Hogwarts Professor. Narcissa was positive that she would enjoy charm much more than snide remarks, that was for sure.

"I'm fine," Khaat said softly, not wanting him to see how close she was coming to showing she still had part of the cruciatus alive and well within her. "I'm just very tired, "Khaat said.

''It seems not enough to go there'', he remarked. His cup was empty so he used his wand to fill it again with warm tea. He took a sip.

''Narcissa, have I asked you what you prefer? Of course you prefer charming, only an idiot wouldn't and I have not qualified you as an idiot... yet. I have asked, if I am baing charming, will it work?'', Wilson asked again.

''Lupin, go take a rest then. I will not rummage through this place, and if the girl or Narcissa try, I will stop them. And I will definitely not slaughter you in your sleep. That would be cowardly. If I had wanted to do that, I would have done it a second ago.'', he added.

Khaat looked at Narcissa, feeling that all her efforts at hiding herself were coming apart. "I am going to go change my clothes, " Khaat said, "If he moves, please kill him. I'll be back." Khaat picked up her wand, picked up her tea mug and picked up the glass vial as discretely as possible and apparated upstairs to her room.

Narcissa raised an eyebrow at Khaat, her eyes leaving Wilson for a few moments. The girl was all but trembling from waves she recognised well. The way she would grit her teeth and close her eyes for a mere second before opening them once more. She'd been subject to the Cruciatus Curse and it seemed as if she couldn't quite handle its effects. She'd have them for years to come if she was foolish enough to not get some help. Narcissa had to live with some effects like some of her senses disappearing during a storm or an overcast day but the girl looked like she was in some serious pain and Narcissa knew she just wanted someone to finish her off.

"Khaat go and rest, dear. You aren’t doing yourself any good at all.” Narcissa said kindly. “It isn’t as if I couldn’t buy anything she has here. Why would I honestly want to steal anything?” She worried about the child even if she didn’t have to. The relation of a werewolf and not even worthy to clean her shoes in Lucius’ opinion yet Narcissa was sat there quite comfortably in her house and didn’t seem to care either. It was almost pleasant being able to just relax.

“Perhaps using the charm that you so obviously possess would work depending on your intentions, James. What could you possibly want from a Black or a Malfoy?” Narcissa all but purred. “I don’t believe I will qualify as an idiot if I am honest. I believe I lack the foolishness that others possess. I have experience not expectations.”

Narcissa watched as Khaat Apparated from the room. I believe you just recieved license to kill, Cissy. Bellatrix's voice echoed in her mind almost tauntingly.

''My intentions have never been bad. And, in addition to that, I do not charm people I want to harm. Not my style. To... stuck-up if you ask me.'', Wilson said.

He then grabbed his wand again, not sure what Khaat meant by that last sentence .Well, he knew what she meant, but what were Narcissa's intentions, that, he was not sure about.

''Now, Narcissa, you tell me... what would I want from a Black?'', Wilson asked.
