''Why should you die? You have every right to live... as much as any of us.'', Wilson replied. He had finished with his tea. He put the cup on the table.

''Enough tea for me, today. Three cups, too much'', he said, more to himself. He then turned to Narcissa. ''My dear Narcissa, are you truly sure that there is no one who could help you?'', Wilson asked.

"Thank you, Jack, "Khaat said, moved by his kindness, "I don't know if that would help or not. Wilson hit me with a cruciatus. Shacklebolt removed pretty much everything but the emotional torture piece. His spell just wasn't enough. That's why I sent those scrolls to try to find Jess Potter. My thinking... is not what it should be. I keep having visions of my Uncle Remus, blaming me for his death and all of this mess. But I do know Neo's needs me, and he'll get that supply--I promise."

"There doesn't seem to be. Honestly why would anyone want to help me though of all people? I'm a wife of a Death Eater - one that has been trapped in the same rut for goodness knows how long and is buried under so much self-loathing that is seems I'll never break free of it. I see no reason for anyone to trust me or particularly like me as a person. I'm not the type that people look to for friendship or anything of the like." Narcissa spoke freely for once but she couldn’t help but feel a little apprehensive about addressing her issues in such a way. Perhaps that vial would be come a closer friend to her than it once was.

"thank you and i don't think vampire blood does help with emotional issues but...If anyone would know how to help you properly it would be jess" he said wishing he could help her more.

''That is rather sad, truly sad. But, to impose on you a counter question... why wouldn't someone trust you? You are the wife of a Death Eater, which does not mean you have to share their views. I may be the grandson of a serial killer or the cousin of a rapist... but does that mean I am both of those?'', Wilson asked.

"If.. if you see him, would you just mention it? I sent him 2 owls, and he hasn't replied to either one. I sent him one the day I...lost the duel, and another the next morning. Nothing since. I'm, I guess, a little surprised he didn't respond. It's not like my family is new to the Order or anything. I suppose I do need to come up with a 'motherly' gift for you to make things look right for them out there. She thought a moment, "Sweater. My mother would be sending you a sweater. Lets see. Something subdued because she wouldn't be sure what to get. How about this?" She conjured a chocolate brown cashmere men's sweater. Conservative, elegant, and expensive looking. "Does that work? Oh, and she'd have sent a card." She waved her hand and conjured up a handpainted Christmas card, a duplicate of one her mother had sent last year, with an appropriate signature. "What do you think?" Khaat asked.

"I may not share the views of the average Death Eater but to those around me I am nothing more than what they expect. A cold hearted killer, one that wouldn't even lift her own wand to save her children. Even if it isn't true it is what they see and I do nothing to dispel those thoughts." Narcissa said, her voice getting quieter as the words left her lips one after another.

"that looks fantastic thank you" he said looking at them and then back at Khaat "If Jess hasn't responded i would expect he is on his way...he wouldn't ignore his members like that. If you want I can go to the headquarters and get him" he said.

"Don't put yourself in danger for me, Jack. Just, if you see him, mention me? I turned over the vial of poison I had to Narcissa. She wont give it back, so I think I'm pretty safe from myself for right now."

''And you should win an Oscar for that. But... if you are able to act, to pretend, does that mean that you are what you are pretending to be? Is a man what he pretends to be? Of course not. A man is what he is, but a man can pretend to be anything. A Death Eater, a professor, a rapist. All that you can pretend to be. But as I have said, people don't change. They are what they are. Therefore, go, run away, leave that misery you call life... I guarantee you will not be killed.'', Wilson said.
