THE MATCH

Scorpius had seen the snitch too, he hoped that Albus would not waste time being an idiot and get the snitch quickly.

Christabelle flew fast after the snitch flying after it as it changed directions. She wasn't even looking for Slytherin's seeker as she flew praying she got to it first. She made sure to keep an eye out for Bludgers as she chased it quickly gaining up on it. When she got close enough she reached out her hand to grab it.

Meanwhile, Selwyn didn't have time to be distracted by the seekers. He was concentrating on shadowing Jennifer as she accellerated toward the Ravenclaw goals. Hopefully, Marco would be distracted by the change the game was taking, though, and they'd be able to get this final shot in before the snitch was caught.

He swerved across and got close enough for the pass. Jennifer's fingertips barely left the quaffle before it was safe in Selwyn's hands, and then he shot away around the perimeter of the pitch. Flying parallel to the goals, it wasn't until he'd passed the first that his hand flicked behind his back sending the quaffle toward that very same hoop.

((Selwyn shoots))

Marco was only vaguely watching the excitement with the snitch; that was not his job. He saw the quaffle being shuttled back and forth; even the girl chaser getting her hands on it for a change. He waited until Selwyn made his move and caught it, holding it for amoment to look around for a suitable chaser, and take a glance at Christy to see if she'd caught the snitch yet. He looked for Ginevra or another chaser to pass the quaffle off to.

Albus saw the snitch and flew after it soon after Christabelle. She had a slight lead, but that didn't really matter much, as Albus was quickly gaining ground. The wind blowed after him as he accelerated and tried to ignore the rain to continue to go after the snitch.

And again, Marco blocked.

How had he achieved it? Selwyn didn't know and right now, Selwyn didn't care. Marco had just passed the quaffle off to the nearest Ravvie and Selwyn's mind switched back into gear in that instant. Still closest to the goals from making his shot, he was also closest to the quaffle as it sailed through the intervening space.

Ne'Os looked down to see Christabelle chasing the snitch he waited until a bludger flew near he sent it at her with all the the strength he could muster it was moving so fast it was a red blur he hoped she wouldn't notice it and would be hit.

Albus closed in onto the snitch, he and Christabelle were level before Ne'os hit a bludger at her. Now, he was closer to it. He extended his hand to catch it.
