First Meeting of the Confederacy of the Light

Godric entered the dining hall. He saw Matt looking qute stressed out and smiled lightly to himself. He walked over to the area for the Inner circle and stood behind and to the right of where Nick would have been making sure he would have been behind both him and Christy. Now that spot was his and Nick's was Christy's until his return. Godric smirked as he looked onward. Now it was time to do his duty. One spot would remain unfilled, always. His because he wasn't to look pretty. His job was to protect Nick and Christy. His white robes were alsmot shimmering in the light. His silver sword at his hip swung hypnoticly. His hood was pulled up so no one would be able to know exactly who it was.

Christabelle made her way back down into the dinning hall, wearing a deep red corseted dress. She saw her cousin and Matt had arrived. She felt a little angered that other members hadn't arrived yet. She hadn't sent out those messages for her health. She walked over to Godric and took her seat next to him. Normally Nick would have let her lead the meetings anyway so since he wasn't here there wasn't too much different about that. "Any sign of his return yet?" she asked already knowing the answer. Had he come back he would have known immediately that she was here conducting a meeting or about to and that she had seen his sister. "Matt you're to escort people to their proper seats." she said pointing to the seats that had names written on sheets of paper. It was all about order....the lower you were the more they had the ability to tell you what to do despite their age.

Godric simply shook his head. He had heard nothing from Nick for weeks now. He hoped his friend hand't meet an ill fate since it was his job to defend him from harm. His robes fell open for a split second due to the movement reveailing an arsenal of silver weapons. More then most people would even consider carrying around. He quickly closed his robes and drew a silver dagger from his sleave. Placing it on the tabel right next to Christy, so she could have easy access to it.

When she gave the order to Matt he just smiled. He could order the man himself but decided not to. Instead he chose to simply be a jerk because he could. "Oh and Bob make sure Gift is entertained before the others arrive." As he spoke the white Egytian Asp slithered into the room and curled within striking distance of Matt. "He likes to play 'Make them Dance'." he said with a dark smile.

"Delk, now you know not to be mean to our members." she chastised him laughing a little at the idea of Gift trying to bite Matt but she quickly stopped. It was a solemn day in the Valentine household. Their leader had been missing for weeks and she had to organize everything on her own and pretty much be her own advisor so Godric could do his job. "Maybe Gift should be up here with us and not around the crowd. I know you and him...One wrong move in the slightest and he'll bite them and I really don't want to lose what members we have. It'll be hard enough convincing them to follow my lead in Nick's absence but I need to know what we have to work with."

Gift come up here. Godric said in parsle. He was laughing as the snake answerd him and slithered up his leg and onto his shoulder. "I know love, i know. You never get to have any fun." He said with a slight laugh to his voice. He looked out at the empty seats and frowned. "Shouldn't we have someone that can screen people before they get this far in?"

"Cousin dearest...these members were hand picked my me and Nicholas." she replied looking at him, "Do you honestly think that we would place someone this close to either one of us that would do us harm?" She sighed people were already late. "Oh I do detest waiting on people." she complained. "You would think that by now they would be here...I did give them enough notice after all. However it matters not we have issues at hand to deal with such as finding Nick and getting those beasts that killed his family."

"No its not his snake at all." she said rolling her eyes, "We just like keeping around white Egyptian asps for our health...If you don't want him to bite you I'd keep away as far as possible because if you hurt Gift I'll have to kill you."
