Ah I see." she replied as she laid down on the ground. She looked like she had lost a great deal of weight since he had left. She probably had. It was starting to look very unbecoming of her but she was barely eating now a days.

"You been doing okay?" Varod asked her, rubbing his forehead. He had a headache from the voice.
"I just don't know what I'm going to do..." he muttered, shaking and fighting back tears.
When was the last time he had cried? When he was quite young, if ever...

"I've been doing fine." she said looking at him. "Why?" she asked propping up on her elbows a little to look up at him. "Going to do about what?" she was wondering why he was acting so weird now.

He splashed some water over his face.

She moved to where she was laying back down and she reached out a hand towards him. It was the one that didn't have her engagement ring on it. She yawned a little. "I'll stay out here as long as you like." she replied smiling weakly. It wasn't her true trademark smile, but it was only like a shell of her smile.

Varod stood and glanced at his watch.
"It's late, I can sleep in my common room tonight and get my stuff tomorrow. Let's go."
He helped her up and started to the castle.
