"I bet." Topher said in admiration. He, in a way, looked up to Gin, for all of the cool experiences she had. "I guess they wouldn't name it the black lake for nothing." he said. He wasn't sure what else to say, didn't know if there was anything he wanted to say.

Yawning, Ginevra laid back. She hadn't slept in awhile and still did not feel like it. "We should go together sometime. Swim for the fun of it." she suggested. It had been awhile since she was over there and actually doing stuff with people was what she needed so that she didn't force herself into being alone with no big reason.

"Yea" Topher said. "That would be fun." He had never actually been in the lake itself, always creeped him out a bit, for some odd reason. But he would go with Gin, he trusted her and, in a way, felt safe with her. "Are you getting tired?" he asked. He noticed the yawn. He was getting a bit sleepy himself, but he would be fine for a while, he often went with little sleep.

Nodding, she sheepishly admitted that she was tired. Usually she would deny it but there was no point. It wasn't a secret to those around her, or at least those who paid attention, that she wasn't a sleeper. Either way, it didn't means he was going to sleep. "I'm always already at the point of being tired, but I do not like sleep." she was so used to the demanding part of her so called other best friend being almost fatherly that it was weird not hearing such things. Making a face, she shook her head. Having someone else around could be good for her. Whether or not that was true, it seemed like a process was about to be taken up to find out.

"Well if you would like..." Topher began not sure if he would be happy with the out comes. "...we could call it a night." It was to late now he figured, to late to change his mind. "I am fine with whatever makes you happy." he said. He figured he gained himself at least a few brownie points.

Making her happy was something that she had never liked, as she prefered to personally get what the other person wanted done instead. Oh well, sleep could be nice to at least try. "Sure. Walk up to the dorm with me?" she asked, swimming to the shore and hoping up, looking for her clothes so that she wouldn't be standing in her bra and panties any longer. She most likely would not be staying in the dorm to sleep but at least they could walk there together, as Topher wasn't like her- he did sleep where he should.

"If that is where you want to sleep." Topher said grinning as he too swam to shore, go out, and put his clothing on. Many did not know it, but when Topher could not sleep when he was indoors, sleep usually came better outdoors. "I would be fine out here, or, if you wish, we could go out seperate ways." He did not want to sound to desperate to stay with her much longer, but he feared that he already did.

Smiling, it seemed she had been wrong. He didn't like the indoors. Ginevra herself wasn't really one to not like the indoors, as she did, just in the Hogwarts walls in the so called dorm room bed was less home than anywhere ever could be. Clothed now, she shook her head so that her hair could just go into place, even if it was now wet and hanging along her shoulders, slowly getting curly. Ginevra's hair was naturally curly, even if some people weren't aware of that fact, since she kept it straight most days. "How about we go someplace i've grown to love? Together." she was talking about the Quiddich Stadium but it wasn't like he would be aware of that.

"As long as it isn't another one of your pranks." he said. He too shook his hair. He had never actually seen a girl do her hair that way, but he knew it was common among men, he didn't pay any heed to it though. "Let's go then." he said walking up next to her.

Everything Ginevra did was not exactly what you could call girly. She was far from and always had been. After awhile, a lot of things that could be considered guy-like really stopped surprising most. For others, it was an endless occurance of just plain weird actions. "Oh I can't promise you nothing, Toph. You know that." she was teasing him, clearly, as she directed him towards the side of the school where they could easily access the entrance.
