Christy's Bathroom
Spoiler:

Christabelle apparated them to a rather large and elegantly styled bedroom in a castle nestled in the German Alps. I told you it was better if I did." she said as she walked over to her door noticing it was open. She figured Allie or Abbey had been looking for her. She turned the lock so they wouldn't be disturbed as she looked at him, "Well this is my room." she said motioning for him to sit, "You can sit if you like...Where ever you prefer." Her black silk sheets on the bed along with the blue silk comforter looked extremely inviting to her after her ordeal but she wanted to spend time with Nick.

Christy's Room ((Nick)) Empty Re: Christy's Room ((Nick))

Post by Guest Thu Sep 17, 2009 4:42 pm

Christabelle’s bedroom was something of a mini palace, the silk black bed sheets which draped the bed looked like heaven and the deep cream carpets and walls gave the impression of something rather grand. The full moon shone into the room, blessing them all with its light, there was little need for the lamp which shone bright as the far end of the room. Nicholas had never been in a castle quite like this, he liked it, he could probably get used to such surrounding’s. He smiled weakly at her when she offered him a seat, though he felt like standing. His brain was still a bit intoxicated from the drink he had had minutes previously but his senses and appearance seemed the same as usual. Nicholas clasped his hand’s behind his back and walked slowly to the window. The stars over head seemed like little beacons of hope, shining so high up in that dark black sky. The moon was at its fullest tonight, a blessing for couples enjoying a romantic stroll in the outdoors but there were other things. Things that were sharing the night with them, sharing the night but secretly plotting to make the night their own. It was wrong that creatures like vampires and werewolves were left to walk the streets, stalking on the living to fuel their state of death. “I can sense them out there you know, stalking in the darkness, deceiving trusting victims before pursuing their un clean desires. There is a masquerade out there, our eyes are shielded from the horrors that await us. Werewolves and Vampires are granted special right’s by our ministry, protected and educated by our society, yet they attack us come the full moon and drink our blood for sustenance. Why, when we have a dark lord obsessed with power, do we still share the night with such creatures? I don’t understand it Christabelle, I just don’t, under-stand-it.” Nicholas’s grip on his wand seemed to have tightened considerably, he had drawn it back in Hogsmeade thinking that he would be apparating and had forgot to put it back it seemed. His eyes remained fixed on it for a moment before he placed it carefully in his back pocket. Before his gaze fell once more on the night outside the window.

They were high up in the castle, probably in one of the tower room’s, he liked heights, Nicholas was not fazed by them at all. He tilted his head to the side slightly, allowing his fringe to fall across his face before smiling a little and continuing “We live in an age of peace, brought about by a vampire named Emof but they just don’t understand. Peace is just a shadow of death, desperate to cover up and forget its painful past. But how can it when behind the scenes our strings are being pulled by those who wish too rule over us? We are like puppets, but I don’t want to be a puppet anymore Christabelle. Something needs to be done to counter these deceptive creatures. Our own ministry refuses to see the problem and tries to bring a curtain down over our eyes, but no....more.” Nicholas turned to face his beloved for the first time since entering the room, his arms were folded and his handsome features showed little emotion, considering the seriousness of the situation. He walked slowly towards her and spoke calmly “Am I going on a bit Christabelle dearest? I apologise, its just something I cant seem to shake. I see them run around our school and my blood boils, I’ve tried to keep a lid on my feelings but I cant, please Christabelle.” He implored, placing his hand’s on his waist “Tell me you feel the same, tell me that my ambitions and beliefs are true. You see it don’t you? I can tell you see it. You and I are alike in more ways than just our attraction for each other, you are too smart to be fooled by them all. You know that the creatures of the night must lose their freedom too the strong, such should be the way of our world. It is the providence of nature that the strong prevail, that’s why we need to build up our strength…..You understand?”

Christy's Room ((Nick)) Empty Re: Christy's Room ((Nick))

Post by Christabelle Whittle Thu Sep 17, 2009 4:55 pm

Christabelle looked at Nick as he spoke. This was something she didn't understand either. Vampires and Werewolves, allowed to roam freely, despite the fact that they used humans as a method of living. Well vampires did anyway, but werewolves could turn their victims just because it was their nature. She moved to comfort him but stopped herself when she saw his grip tighten on his wand. She hadn't even been paying attention to the fact that he still hadn't put it back up. She had been intoxicated, but it was almost gone now, having this sobering conversation. It had been a trick her cousin had taught her, how to sober up in a few moments time. It came in handy when the need arisen, and this seemed like the moment it needed to happen. She knew these were not the ramblings of a drunk or a mad man and she did infact feel the exact same way. She finally had spoken up when he finished.

"No Nick, dearest." she said smiling weakly at him. A small form of comfort seemed to be needed and it was the best she could offer as she cupped his cheek in her hand, "You aren't the only one who feels that way." She couldn't stand having to be in school with those leeches and fur-brained mongrels. "It makes my blood boil as well and we're the one's who are forced to hold our tongues because they deserve the same rights as us?!" she practically hated that fact they were allowed to even be in school with them. Things like that would never happen at Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. "They aren't even human anymore and most have lost all sense of humanity in them. Look at Ne'Os!"

“Look at Ne’Os indeed my love, an entity so despicable his very name makes my skin crawl. Certainly a target we should look to be disposing of as soon…as…possible.” The feeling of Christabelle’s slender hand upon Nicholas’s cheek calmed him somewhat. Indeed she was the only person he knew that had such a calming influence on him, other than his younger sister. It was nice being in these stone walls, safe from everything he hated and surrounded by everything he loved. Christabelle, material wealth and power, the wealth was all around them, in the shape of expensive furniture and classy smells, the power was something built into these powerful walls, only someone who wielded authority could have constructed such a structure. Nicholas would need to find a building of similar stature to this one for his head quarters. Removing his hand’s from her hips he flicked his fringe out of his face as thoughts began to race through his mind. He had taken to speaking such thing’s out loud, so Christabelle would not have any difficult deciphering the workings of his mind “We will need a headquarters for our doing’s. I believe somewhere like this would do us fine, but where to find such a place? More importantly we are going to need a larger array of weapon’s, it is a common misconception of ours that the demons we are hunting are afraid of thing’s like magic. How foolish of us to let them into our fold and teach them our secrets, how foolish indeed.” Nicholas turned his back on Christabelle as he fell silent once again, walking over to the window which seemed to give him so much comfort. His left hand moved to his chin and began to stroke his clean shaven face as he retreated into the farther reaches of his mind. They would also need a uniform, dress clothing which would unite their members and strike fear into their enemies. He spoke calmly whilst gazing at the full moon “We should find a mean’s of constructing old fashioned silver weapon’s. Dagger’s for our members which are easily conceilable, if our magic doesn’t work then we will need to use more, crude methods. White robes too perhaps, yes, white, we are after all those who are allied with the light, ridding the world of the darkness which seems to be creeping slowly but surely into our world.” His facial feautures relaxed slightly as he sighed a long sigh of relief. His head tilted again as he spoke “Oh how I have longed for this day….the day I might finally cast away this mask and reveal my true self to the world. With you Christabelle dearest I feel like the time has finally come to do away with niceties’.”

Nicholas walked over to Christabelle’s bed and allowed himself to collapse on it. The sheets seemed to welcome him into their fold and his eyes closed for a moment, before opening once more, fixing upon the ceiling. A line of confusion crossed his brow as he thought about the word’s he had spoken previously “But where would we get such thing’s Christabelle? I know of no-one that could forge us such precious weapons of retribution. I refuse to wield something from an antique store, perhaps I should compose a letter to the ministry? Convey our feelings to them and use them to our advantage. Pull their string’s to achieve our own end’s like they have done to us for so, so long. Only when the ministry out weigh their usefulness shall we act against them. It would be foolish to reveal all our cards at such an early stage, we have a good hand, let us suck them in and strike at the perfect moment. I just know that everything will proceed as I have foreseen.” Nicholas’s eyes closed as he dwelled on his inner emotion’s, such an auspicious night this one had become. He spoke quietly “Christabelle, come and lie by me….”

Christabelle could merely watch him. The way he was speaking, she had felt the same. She couldn't bring herself to follow him over to her window, it had seemed he wanted to speak his thoughts without her having the chance to interrupt. When he had mentioned daggers of silver she beamed up, "You mean like this?" she asked as she hiked up the hem of her dress some to reveal a knife holster holding a silver dagger against her firm thigh. She had started carrying it around since the attack on the two of them and there had been the perfect place to hide it. She pulled it out of its holster to show him. The silver gleamed beautifully in the light that the moon and the lamp had provided. It had been a gift from her cousin for Christmas one year.

"My cousin got it for me for Christmas one year." she said as she walked over and laid down next to him like he asked. She didn't quite know how she felt about going against the ministry. Especially with her father being the German minister himself. "He even went so far as to teach me how to throw them love.. I could probably get them without going through the ministry."

Christy's Room ((Nick)) Empty Re: Christy's Room ((Nick))

Post by Guest Thu Sep 17, 2009 11:44 pm

Nicholas’s eyes opened and he sat up straight when she drew the slender knife which had been concealed by her thigh. His eyes did not leave the blade as Christabelle spoke, then strolled over to him before lying herself down on the bed. Nick no longer felt like lying down, he took the dagger in his hand and turned it over in his palm, once, then twice. The silver blade gleamed in the light making Nicholas smile slightly, a lovely piece, a weapon which would be almost perfect for exacting sweet revenge upon those, who up until now had had the best of their world. Something this small though, did not say much for Nicholas’s ego, he would have preferred something a tad bigger. It was a start however and he was pleased that the mechanism was in motion, the time for retribution had begun. Smiling he spoke, his voice soft and welcoming “Such a gem, that which lies before me. I wonder where I would be without you to catch me when I fall, for when the answer’s fail to come to me, they seem to come too you. I think we should begin mass producing weapons like these, though I do think something a little bigger and grand calls for people of our standing. Do you know where he bought this?” Nicholas rose to his feet and began to pace the length of the room, retreating once more within himself. He should definitely still compose a letter to the minister, why not use those who they wished to destroy to their advantage? If they were willing to help in his endeavours then he would allow them too help, only too destroy them once they had out lived their usefulness “Eventually we all out live our usefulness.” he said out loud, though he did not seem to realise it. “I feel that my time at Hogwarts is slowly but surely coming to an end, there are more important thing’s to pursue, more advanced branches of magic to study. There just isn’t time enough in this play that is my life to cater for that particular act. Perhaps I am being rash, it is something I will have to consider come the morning….” Nicholas stopped pacing and gazed out the window once more, where he remained transfixed for a few minutes. Until breaking the silence “We should probably think of casting away the chains which bind us to our birth names also. If not to finalise the creation of our new identities then to fashion names that will one day strike fear into even those that serve Tom Riddle."

Tom Riddle, a blip on Nicholas’s radar that should probably be eliminated at the soonest opportunity. Riddle’s time was over, the time had come for a new villain. A new antagonist which would add further dimension and terror to this play that was life. Nick would not be the cliché evil villain that children read about in novels. He felt it a duty of his too bring a certain class and sophistication to the title Antagonist. Turning his back on the window he walked slowly towards Christabelle, stopping a foot from where she was seated. He looked down upon her and told her his thought’s, she was the only one after all that he could confide in “I wont be like lord Voldemort, I wont be that character. Where his blood is unclean mines is pure, where his mind is warped by evil and poisoned by those he trusts mine remains sophisticated. I shall bring a sort of poetic elegance to the role of the Antagonist.” Nicholas stopped abruptly then lay back down on the bed next to his beloved. His eyes gazed up at the ceiling as his breathing slowed, he had been talking for hours it seemed. His mind was processing information at a million miles per hour and he began too feel rather nauseous. He smiled slightly as he thought of Christabelle “No antagonist is complete without reasoning behind his madness. Why should we fight to up hold this flawed society my sweet? I don’t think we should. I think you should fight for me, and I for you. It will be a romantic love story of two individuals caught in an ever changing world, who wish too see a return to old fashioned ideals. First Act: The Beginning of the End.” With those final word’s Nicholas’s head relaxed upon the soft silk pillow.

Christy's Room ((Nick)) Empty Re: Christy's Room ((Nick))

Post by Christabelle Whittle Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:25 am

Christabelle sat up as soon as he stood up looking at him curiously. She had heard what he said, and couldn't argue the point that he made about the ministry. It had been a valid point and with Christy's father literally wrapped around her pinkie, she knew she could get what they wanted easily. "I'm sorry I don't know where he got it." she said frowning a bit. An expression she didn't often show, especially around him. Her face became even more troubled as he spoke of leaving Hogwarts. She would go with him if it came to that. In her heart of hearts she knew. But the question was would he let her, would Godric let her. She knew it would eventually come to that. "Nick you might just be acting a tad bit rash liebe." she said as he laid back down on the bed. Christy curled up against him as she looked up towards him, "Leaving school and changing our names?" she had sounded a little surprised by that. She actually really liked her name, Christabelle Kathrina Whittle. It practically rolled off the tongue.

"If you leave school I'm going with you, you know that right?" she said looking at him. She wouldn't be forced to stay somewhere she didn't want to be if he wasn't there. She just couldn't do that to herself. She cared for him way too much. She lifted up some and placed a chaste kiss on his lips and smiled, "I like that reason." she said as she placed another chaste kiss on his cheek. "Fighting for each other." she said trying not to laugh a little. "We've only been doing that since we first met anyway."

“Rash, perhaps’s.” Came Nicholas’s reply. Leaving Hogwarts would indeed be a rather tough decision, on one hand he would be leaving a place he had called home for six year’s. A castle he had fallen deeply in love with, whose walls contained more magic than could be found anywhere in the outside world. But he just did not have time for stupid classes and meaningless examination’s. There were types of magic they refused to teach, the type of magic that Nick needed to master for his plans too work. He lay there motionless gazing at the ceiling. The fan on the roof turning around had him transfixed, it was very much like his mind, forever turning, endlessly in motion. When he returned to the castle he would need to make a few changes to his schedule. More time would need to be spent in the library, more notably in the restricted section. They had a wide selection of rather dark book’s, if Nick remembered correctly it was at Hogwarts Tom Riddle first started his, learning experience. His name though, he couldn’t operate using his family name, how then would he create his mask of illusions? If everyone knew he was behind such thing’s how could he pull the string’s of those soulless mannequins he wished to manipulate. It was common practice for antagonists to disguise their true identities, he would be no different from the classics. He spoke softly “Perhaps I am being rash concerning the castle, the place does have its uses. Though in my heart of hearts I know that although cliché I must fashion myself a new name. There cannot be a guise of deception if those who we are trying to deceive know everything about us? It will be something majestic and sophisticated, though what I am not sure, at least not just now. There are more important things to sort out first, I leave the weapon collecting to you. Though I will still compose my letter to the ministry, too see if there is anything they can provide us with.” Nick clasped his hands behind his head and relaxed, closing his eyes whilst absorbing the silence of the room for a moment. He smiled to himself when Christabelle kissed his cheek and spoke her sweet words into his ear. “Life is like a theatre performance for those watching down from the heavens, let us give them a show that they wont soon forget. For I fear they grow wearisome of the same thing over and over…Imagine their faces, up there when our first act begins, finally bringing an end to the performance of Tom Riddle. Oh Christabelle your such a joy….” he added, turning his head too look at her.

She listened to him, as always. Even if it wasn't something serious anytime Nick spoke, she listened as if it would be the last words she would ever hear from him. "So we're just a live play to the heavens." she thought musingly. She like how he had phrased it. "Then I think we should start giving them quite an enjoyable show don't you?" She had looked at him curiously for a moment, "How am I such a joy liebe?" she asked looking at him not sure what he had ment by that statement, but she had figured it was something good. She seemed to bright up anytime he had mentioned sweet nothings to her.

Christy's Room ((Nick)) Empty Re: Christy's Room ((Nick))

Post by Guest Fri Sep 18, 2009 8:54 pm

Nicholas rolled onto his side so he could stare at Christabelle, he offered her a small smile as he contemplated his next move. He spoke in a hushed manner “You are a joy for so many reasons my sweet. Your always so calm, yet prepared. Sweet, but ruthless, you just seem to be the sort of person I could spend eternity with.” Nick sighed as he stared into her eyes, he felt another elaborate moment pass through him and as he spoke it felt like someone else’s words were rolling of his tongue. “Our story will be a romantic journey through time. Two people whose paths are intertwined, they love each other but life can never be simple. Both must experience the feelings brought about by death, sorrow and war. It will be a fine piece, a story which will be passed down through the ages.” Nicholas continued to smile as he ran his hand up her upper thigh, resting it gently upon her waist. It felt rather odd lying on her bed, but nice at the same time. Nick just hoped that no-one walked in in the morning. His eyes darted to the door as he remembered that Christabelle had locked it upon entering. Nicholas was dying to rise to his feet and pace, he still had so much more too say on the matter they had been discussing but he could tell that Christabelle was growing weary of the sophisticated chat, he was too. It was difficult spieling of long artsy speeches, he needed a little bit of time to clear his head and rest, or something else. Tilting his head to the side he gazed upon her appearance, oddly enough he had never noticed the small mid-line diastema in her front teeth, it was cute. Reaching over he moved some of her long locks away from her face, then cupped her cheek with his hand before moving in too kiss her upon the lips. It was a passionate kiss, one that he had been eager to give her for some time now. The passion and romance which he had built up over the course of the past half hour seemed to have reached a high point and now Nicholas was desperate to share his high with his girlfriend. After locking lips for a moment he withdrew then spoke softly “Well I should probably conjure up myself a spot on the floor to rest my head. I never intended to come waltzing into your room and steal your bed from you. Though perhaps it would be wise to stay on my good side, now that I’ve decided to become the world’s greatest antagonist.” Nick teased, laughing a little and leaning in for another kiss.

Tonight would be the first night the young couple would spend together and although it felt odd, Nicholas believed he could get used to the feeling. The feeling of having someone to talk to until your eye lids grew heavy would be comforting. It was an experience he had never had the pleasure of enjoying. During his youth Nick had never had sleep over’s at friend’s houses, and it was different in the school dormitories. You couldn’t talk about anything that played on your heart, there were too many ears listening. Smiling Nick would speak once more “Reach into your heart Christabelle, reach in and pick out a little piece of information you could share with me. Before we pass over to the eternal darkness which is sleep….”
