Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice/Try Outs

"Thanks!" he shouted out as he pulled around and caught the quaffle by wrapping it closely to his chest. His broom flipped in the air as he straightened it out with a careful hand. It surprisingly struggled lightly. It was the first time it had done this without a strong controlling spell, unless somebody had cast a spell over it. He found himself fairly close enough to the goal. He had to pass the ball to someone else, or go for broke. He raised his arm and launched the ball at the goal posts, and sped back to the center of the field.

Christabelle caught a glimpse of the snitch and went flying after it. She quickly caught up to it as it changed directions and vanished out of her sight. "Damn." she cursed as she started looking for it again keeping an eye on her team.

Christopher watched as the bludger just missed James. Sighing, he watched his brother - annoyed. He couldn't play that well without his twin.

(I am well aware of the fact that Ginevra wont make the team as I missed the sign-outs, but that's fine, she'll still be trying out, if that's okay!)

Ginevra walked out onto the field. It was her first day back and she couldn't believe that she had slept in. Okay- she could. The day before she had barley slept, like always but accidently passed out a little later. Today were try-outs and she loved the game of Quiddich. Since she had gone away she had lost her spot as captain and chaser, now she was just going to try out for chaser. Hopefully she'd make it but whatever, it wasn't like she would care too much if she didn't. Ginevra wasn't a poor sport. Broom in hand, she went where the others were as casually as possible, not wanting to stick out. "Sorry i'm late" she spoke towards the new captain.

Christopher stopped flying and looked down at the girl who had just arrived at the pitch. He frowned and turned to the captain, christabelle, to see what she would do.

[We have a full team i think, so I think you'll have to be a substitute or something. Not rly sure]

If it's try-outs, people who don't make the team would be there too. I'll make her decide she doesn't want to play because of personal reasons, since she is really good.

Ginevra could tell that she was noticed, but tried to ignore it the best she could. Maybe she wasn't ready to be around more people. She felt so self-concious, not something that was usual. This didn't mean she couldn't do it- more than she was now unsure whether she would do it. Did she want to be a quitter? No. But she was aware of ways she could make it look as if she simply didn't want too, and had come for the hell of it. That would definitely be a Ginevra move there, for those who had known her in the past.

Jamie suddenly realized that she was the only one not flying. "opps" she murmered to herself. Quickly she flew around looking at her team mates.

Christabelle saw the girl who had come onto the field and flew down to meet her. "I'm sorry the team is full if you wanted to join." she said looking at her, "But we are looking for substitutes if you're interested in that." she said smiling. They could always use subs considering you never knew when you would need them. Plus they just came in handy to have if you didn't. "Is there a position you'd like to be a sub for?" she asked her curiously.

Turning her head, she was amused. The girl didn't recognize her. Did anyone ever? They had only been attending Hogwarts together for six years now, but whatever, that wasn't what really was being discussed at the moment. Weird how she went from captain of the tema to a sub. Not wanting to be a poor sport, she looked over at the girl and shrugged. "A sub seems good. Chaser is my position." she didn't mean to seem so demanding but it was all that she would play, even if she knew quite well that she could do the others. Ginevra was just specific and nothing could help that, it was her nature.

((This is Christy's first year at Hogwarts...she's been at Beauxbatons until now lol just so you know))

"Thats good." she said looking at her, "We're just practicing so you can fly on up and join them if you want." she said smiling. "I'm Christabelle but you can call me Christy." she said sweetly towards the girl.
