Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Good." she said looking down at Sierra. "Come on guys I want you all to show me what you've got so we know what we need to work on."

Christopher flew around boredly, watching his twin in annoyance. No one would accept him into the team the way he was practicing.

"Ok guys come here for a minute." she said hovering in the middle of the field. She waited til everyone had come before she spoke. "Guys I was talking to the quidditch captain for Slytherin and we want to have a practice game between the two houses...What do you think?" she asked curiously.

Christopher shrugged. "That would be OK," he said. He knew the slytherin team was pretty good and would be a good match.

"I think it sounds... ok." In truth, Slytherin had always had a good team. Sierra was a good flyer, but did not have much practice. She needed a lot of work.

"Anyone else?" she asked looking at htem curiously. "I think its a good idea and besides its just for fun." she had only suggested it for fun considering she found quidditch fun.

Jamie slid onto her board and flew slowly taking everything in. Jamie saw a bludger coming strait for her. Moving only inches most people would have been hit but the bludger just missed her. Jamie might have been a slow flyer but was amazing at avoiding things.. and knocking people off their brooms when they were not expecting it..

"Good job Jaime!" Christy said as she ducked the on coming bludger with ease. "I see you're going to be good at this." she smiled at the thought. The team was seeming to shape up rather nicely considering they were only one player short.

Jamie smiled to herself. She hovered in the air, appering to have no purpuse. Her mind was somewhere else.. Waiting in the future for the Quaffle

Post by James Wake Sat Sep 19, 2009 6:09 pm

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Just needed to adjust the broom... a bit." The worn broom wriggled in his leather-clad hand. He tightened the grip. It submitted. It had little choice in the matter. He climbed up on it, and kicked up to the Captain, who was encouraging the other teammates. "Is there any openings?"
Frankly, he hoped not. He was only trying to join so that Alan would quit bugging him about his lack of recreational exercise. He only had rudimentary understanding of Quidditch, and was a novice with the broom. He preferred to use his hands for something besides chucking a giant ball at people on the same team as him. Still, he decided that he would try to remain doggedly determined to his goal. This time: just make this the least embarrassing thing you do in Hogwarts.
