Serpentine Sextet

Nicky opened his dorm door. He sighed and threw his bag on his bed. It was the most tiring day ever. Nicky saw Elv all day and instead of met her, he was hiding around, avoid to met her. MERLIN!! Why the world seemed small on this situation? He sighed again and sat on his bed. Looked at the window next to his bed. And suddenly realized that there was somebody there.

He saw His room mate there. "Bad day, huh?" he asked as he saw that boy's face was also frustrating just like him.

Elijah yawned and wandered into the dorm. He was tired and a little more irritable than usual. He'd been neck deep in confusing emotions since the monday he had first started and he was sick of it. It was like eating too much sugar and then watching some sad, depressing Muggle movie. That would confuse anyone.

Elijah raised an eyebrow at the two other boys who seemed to be going through the same inner turmoil and flopped down onto the bed one away from the bathroom. He yawned and put his arms behind his head before closing his eyes.

Sleep sounded great but that just wasn't an option at that point in time. Elijah opened his eyes and looked around to see the other two boys. The seventh year mentioned something about a bad day and Elijah chuckled.

"Bad days are beautiful, are they not?" he asked, reaching over to take his sketchbook from his bedside table.

Nicky looked at the boy who suddenly came to the room. He watched the moon while changing his cloths into t-shirt. He wore sweater too. Now after he felt warmer, the other boy said something about beautiful. "Not always... This one wasn't beautiful at all. The day, i mean..." he asnwered him. Covered himself with a warm and cozy bedcover. He took a book from his bag.

Elijah nodded thoughtfully and began to sketch Ruby from where he had left off. he didn't want to leave it unfinished and he wanted to finish it before colouring. He had caught her smiling and wanted to capture the moment and keep it so it could be alive forever.

"What happened?" Elijah asked, lookng up from his book.

Nicky raised his head from the book. "Girl problem..." he grinned. "I don't want to meet her but i ACTUALLY always meet her. That's why i ended up hide everytime i saw her." he answered Elijah. Dear Merlin!! Nicky wished that tomorrow he wouldn't saw Elv as much as today. He was tired to hiding from her. No more even if only for one more day.

Selwyn smirked.

"Mate, you've got issues. You can't just hide from girls. You've gotta put whoever it is in her place," he told the older boy. "Next time you see her, you've gotta look her in the eye and make a joke about how a woman's place is in the kitchen. Then, she'll never want to come near you again."

Having said his piece, and finished putting on his badger slippers, Selwyn kicked himself over onto his stomach so that now he was looking out across the end of the bed and could see what was going on in the rest of the room.

"Who is this chick, anyway?"

Nicky laughed. This boy surely a prankster. "That gotta be good idea." he answered. But then he thought that it would hurt Elv. "But, i cannot do that. She's too kind." he added. Besides if it wasn't about his background, he wouldn't hide from her. She is a good friend once. But now after he loves her, he didn't want to ruin their friendship, anyway.

Nicky grined. "A third year Gryffindor girl. Some people said that she is too young for me. But I love her, anyway." he said. And no worries about biting her and turn her into vampire like him, since ministry provides blood for him.

Eli smirked and listened to his roommate's advice. It was sure to work but the way to get rid of unwanted attention was not so you could never tap into it again.
"Let her down easy. Jesus, don't break her heart." Elijah spoke up from his bed. He eyed the badger slippers the other boy was wearing and raised an eyebrow. He shook it off and thought to any third years that were Gryffindor and surely loved.
Then, it dawned on him.
"It's not the Weasley girl is it? Not really familiar with her Christian name but still, third year, Gryffindor and a great personality... fits the bill although I added the last bit." Eli said thoughtfully.

At that, Selwyn laughed even more. No way could that be right.

"Nah, it wouldn't be Elv," he set Krum straight. "We're, well, not together exactly, but not not together either. And like he says, she's too sweet to two-time a bloke."

He paused for a moment to feel guilty about what he'd intended to do with Elvaleryn. This whole charade was driving him crazy... but not nearly as crazy as he'd be if he let down his guard.

"Besides, I'd hardly suggest hurting my own girlfriend, would I?"

No, Selwyn, of course you wouldn't. You reserve that right for yourself.
