Nick could tell Christabelle really wanted him too come over, and he really did too, but he did not want too seem a burden in someone elses house. Then again it wasn't actually Godrik's house, if he did not like Nick then he could just stay in his room. Were thing's really that bad between them? Nicholas could not even remember really insulting Godrik, perhaps it was just in his nature? Though it seemed that there could be a way to get on his good side, to win over this….gift? A line of confusion appeared across his brow as he sat up straight, he spoke calmly “Who is this gift? A person? Does Godrik have a girlfriend or something? it’s a rather odd name for a person isn’t it?”
Hearing her final words he smiled warmly and spoke whilst running his hand up and down her arm soothingly “I’ll come whether he likes it or not, for you. If he doesn’t like it, we can just stay in your room or something, yeah? You never know, the more he see’s me he may come too like me?” It was a long shot but perhaps one day, Godrik would be able to just stand Nick. Nicholas was not really one too cause arguments, if Godrik didn’t want to be friends, he was more than happy to just stay away from him. The two did not need to get along after all.
