Class one - Owls

Cosette brushed off her mistake. She must have been thinking about something else. Instead of making it known that she was embarrassed, she headed to gather the ingredients. She hadn't seen Chris come in, and smiled at him as she headed back to her cauldron, waiting for the "go-ahead".

Haley laughed at Jacob and smiled, "First you need powdered moonstone and syrup of hellebore.and then wait for the teachers instructions." she smiled.

Jacob listened to the girl and grinned. "Thank you..now was that so hard?" Jacob thanked the girl and then looked back to the Slytherin guy next to him. He got up and looked & found the powdered moonstone and syrup of hellebore and brought them to the table and waited. He suddenly felt different about Slytherins..and DEs...Perhaps he wanted to befriend them as well or was this apart of their plot...?

She was impressed by the way they just started getting on with the potions; she walked around for a while some students needed a little help but she pointed them in the right direction “If anyone is stuck please help each other out no ones attempts will be criticised today I just want to see what you can do.”

Hafiz smiled to Jacob. He began to stir the ingredients inside the cauldron. He looked at Jacob's "Nice one mate", as he began to look back his potion solution.

Haley smiled to the boy, "You are welcome." she beang to stir her cauldron clock wise four times while, slowly mixing a pinch of the powdered moonstone with each stir, then she stirred it three time counter-clockwise, while adding tthe last of the moonstone, she let it sit until it started to buble, then lastly she added the syrup of hellebore. Haley sighed as she turned the flame down. She had remembered the steps from the first time she made Draught of Peace, it was one of her favorite potions. She looked at the potion and noticed that it was bubling, she turned the heat down yet again before letting it simmer, she looked at Haifaz potion and then at him, a smile crossing her face. Looking away blushing, she turned to the gryffindor boy that she had helped ealier, she thought his name was Jacob, or something like that, "How are you doing? Need any help?" She noted a silvery vapour emit from her potion out of the corner of her eye, she smiled, "Erm...professor! I think mine is done." she said shyly as she turned the fire off. She looked at her cauldron and was pleased with her work. Potions was the only thing she was good at.

"Sorry I'm Late"Louis said running in. "I had some trouble with a certain Poltergeist"

After watching the students brew their potions she brought the class together, “Well done, some promising results today.” She collected their potions from each of them and returned to her desk.

Writing started appearing on the board. “Your homework this week is to write what you would use your Draught of Peace potion for, you can be creative but not over the top. To be handed in for next lesson.”
