Astoria laughed at the girls foolish attemtps. "Crucio!" The spell
shot out of her wand. And since it was held against Dawn's head,
it hit her almost instantly.

Jamie gasped before it happened, she saw it happen before it happened but there was nothing she could do about it. Jamie snapped her eyes shut because she did not need to see it twice.

Abbey could feel the excruiating pain at the curse hit her. "Gah!" she cried out. Her limbs twisted in grisly ways, the pain hurt badly. Her body suddenly fell limp when the curse's affects were over. Her eyes stared at her father.

Ethan's mouth gaped in horror at his daughter as the curse hit her. His head snapped away, not wanting to look. "Fine." Ethan said, turning to Matt. "You can have me. Just leave my daughter and her friends alone." he said, his head hanging limply.

Their protection spell seems weak... Astoria Casting a crucio to Abbey... "Noo!!!" Elv yelled. Pointed her wand to Astoria and mumbled. "Expelliarmus!!" Hopefully this could help her disarm Astoria and help Abbey.

Sophia saw Astoria shoot the Cruciatus Curse at Abbey and her chocolate brown eyes flicked with hate in them. " You evil snake, leave her alone! Sectumsempra!" shouted Sophia as she pointed her wand at Astoria. "We have to get Abbs and everyone else to safety!"said Sophia calmly. "Protego!"Sophia casted around her and the others in case Astoria or Matt tries to hurt them again.

When sectumsempra hit Astoria, Abbey got the chance to wiggle out of her arms. Abbey started running away, but then she looked back and saw her dad. He was giving himself up so they could get away. Abbey could feel Sophia tugging on her arms. Abbey shot a glance at her dad. He mouthed the words 'Go'. Abbey turned around and started running with her friends, away from the death eaters and her father.

"Gah!" The spell hit Astoria in the stomach. She fell to the ground,
drenched by her own blood. "Episky." She knew this would not
completaly heal the wounds, but would make the bleeding stop.
The scars would be a permenent reminder of this battle. "You all
shall suffer for this!" Astoria was as angry as a bull that kept on
missing it's target. "Crucio!" She said this with so much hate, the
shield that was protecting the kids was blasted apart. "Avada Kadavra!"
The green light soared out of her wand, straight towards the Dawn girl.

"No!" Jamie yelled before Astoria cast the spell. Only seconds later they could understand why. Jamie knew no shield could hold a curse like that. Without thinking Jamie appirated right on top of Abbey knocking her down so she avoided the curse (even though she had never passed her text).
