Family Information: Ginny is the youngest child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley, and the first girl born to the family in several generations. Growing up with all boys in the family did certainly make Ginny a stronger person too. Growing up so close in age with many of them she attended Hogwarts with many of her younger sibilings which made her close to Harry Potter also. She would later marry him and have several children.
Background: Ginny is the youngest child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley, and the first girl born to the family in several generations. Though consistently underestimated by her family, she is a powerful witch and also quite popular.
Though she had been anxious to go, Ginny’s first year at Hogwarts was a stressful one, as she was regularly possessed by Tom Riddle and forced to open the Chamber of Secrets. At the end of the year she was taken into the Chamber, with the intent that she would be sacrificed to make Riddle’s memory fully human, until Harry destroyed the diary – a Horcrux – with a fang from Slytherin’s basilisk, and she was revived.
From her first meeting with him, Ginny was quite taken with Harry, and according to her it was a romantic interest she never lost. Relationships with Michael Corner and Dean Thomas didn’t work out, and when she finally caught Harry’s eye, it was for good – they began dating and, though separated for a year while Harry hunted down Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes, they were eventually married following after leaving Hogwarts.
Despite being perpetually “too young” and overprotected by her mother, Ginny also flatly refused to be left behind, either when Harry took off for the Department of Mysteries or when Voldemort announced his intention to attack Hogwarts. She is a wicked mimic, skewering everyone from Umbridge to Fleur to her brother Ron.
Ginny's sixth year at Hogwarts must have been a nightmare. Muggle-born students were excluded, Severus Snape was headmaster and avowed Death Eaters given professorships. Ginny worked with Neville to revive Dumbledore's Army and organize the student resistance. During her Easter holidays, Death Eaters discovered that Ron was not sick in bed with spattergroit and the whole family moved to Aunt Muriel's house where it was safer. Ginny didn't return to school until it was attacked by Voldemort in May.
As Ginny was underage, she was supposed to stay in the Room of Requirement during the Battle of Hogwarts. When Harry needed the room to look for the Ravenclaw tiara, however, Ginny joined the fray. Later, when she was attacked by Bellatrix, Ginny's mother counterattacked and killed her psychopathic cousin.
After leaving Hogwarts, Ginny went on to play Quidditch professionally for the Holyhead Harpies, later retiring and settling down as a Quidditch senior editor for the Daily Prophet, which better allowed her to care for a family. Ginny and Harry had four children: James Sirius, Albus Severus, Lily Luna, and Nick Potter who made both their parents and their grandparents proud.
It would be years later that Harry was killed right before Ginny's eyes and that is the one thing that has made all the differance in her life. She's become a bit older and a bit more protective of the family that she does have. It has made her fight even stronger and with more emotions than she ever has before. It worries her family for the most part.
Short Roleplay: Ginny was home alone seeing as all her children were at Hogwarts. it proved to be a very boring life working at the Daily prophet, but it was a great cover story. It often gave her time and places to be able to do things that might not regularly allow people to enter those kidns of situations. Ginny's worries did not need to be on providing for her family because Harry had left far more than enough to last her life times on top of her savings from the playing of Quidditch she'd done.
Ginny had been searching out the horocurxes on her own for a few years now unable to find any of them really. Voldemort was getting stronger and it was pissing her off. She'd been debating for all these years to secretly join the Dark Side and fight for them in order to get to them, but she knew no one would ever beleive that she was evil. She was the Boy Who Lived's wife for pete's sake! Ginny grumbled to herself anyways,
"I'm not as strong as Snape was anyways."ginny was bright from her thoughts to see Hermioen standing at her door. Hermione laughed as she looked to Ginny and spoke,
"I've been knocking for about five minutes." Ginny gave a half smiled and muimbled apologies. hermione then came over and hugged her sister and whispered,
"Come and have dinner with Ron and I tonight. We miss seeing you around." Ginny nodded and then the two began to catch up a bit.
