Alice scowled. 'Duh' she thought. Vanessa had also struck a nerve when she ranted on about Dumbledore. And when she insisted on asking who Ben was. Alice made the mistake of saying all of that out loud.

"Vanessa, you also struck a nerve when you ranted on about Dumbledore. And when you insisted on asking who Ben was!" she said. She slapped her hand to her mouth.

"Aha," Vanessa said with a smile. "I see, this Ben must be another blood traitor such as yourself. Are you two planning on running off together and, oh I don't know,: she paused, "resurrecting Dumbledore so good can triumph over evil." She laughed. "No one can stop The Dark Lord."

Alice was horrified.

"Okay, first off PAL Ben is not a blood traitor. Don't you DARE say that again. And second off, the Dark Lord can be stopped. Just you wait and see." she yelled, heatedly.

Vanessa laughed, "Well I'm am pretty sure you only associate with blood traitors," she said. The Voldemort comment had struck a nerve. "What do you mean he can be stopped! Nobody can stop the Dark Lord!" she screamed shrilly.

"Well, it's been done before. Remember Harry Potter? Yeah, he died, but that was in attempt to do it twice. He'd already defeated the Dark Lord." she said. She was glad that the subject was off Ben. Normally, that wouldn't have been a good thing, but Vanessa could be dangerous to Ben, who knew?

Vanessa smirked. "Well it didn't work very well did it! He's still around and stronger than ever!" she shouted. "None of your feeble attempts with the Order or whatever it is you idiots do will work!" Her voice echoed around the classroom.

"Idiots? Us, the idiots? Speak for yourself. I'd say vice versa." Alice replied hotly. She was very loyal to the DA and her parents were in the Order. Vanessa could just stop making those comments. The Dark Lord was defeatable. Period. No buts, ands, or ifs.

"We'll see who laughs when he wins!" Vanessa snapped. Vanessa may not be a death eater, but she was loyal to him anyway. Her parents were death eaters, practically everyone she knew was a death eater. She wasn't going to change anytime soon.

"If you're so happy with him, why don't you become a Death Eater? Huh?" She asked. Alice herself found it rather strange. But she wasn't going to ponder on it for very long.

"Er, I think the Order is the one who is going to be laughing their heads off." Alice added, for good measure.

"Because I don't want something marking up my arm," she said. Who knows? Maybe someday she would become a death eater, but that would take a lot of convincing. A lot. She had always been afraid that she'd get chucked in Azkaban if she joined that and she didn't want to be restricted to long-sleeves for the rest of her life.

"Oh they won't just you wait!" Vanessa shouted.
