Making Friends ( Alice and Daniel and Lily)

"You're ON!!" Alice replied, and dashed up to the castle. She was so busy running she wasn't even sure who was winning. She loved this. It was what her dad had taught her to do. As she ran past the greenhouses she saw her twin brother. She smiled at him, even though he did not see her. Alice turned around to see if shee was winning or not. They were almost out of sight of the black lake. ALMOST.

Daniel let her have a head start before running. He watched her for a moment and laughed as he started to run back to the castle, running as fast as his leg would let him. He caught up with her and now keeping up with the rhythm of her feet. They were now neck to neck.

"WAIT!!" Allice hollered, hoping to bring him to a direct stop.

"There's the Womping Willow. So let's just race on THAT path, okay? ReadysetGO!!!!" Alice yelled again, leaving Daniel no time to ask questions.

Daniel wanted to ask why, but she had already raced toward the Womping Willow. He had a bad feeling about this, the Womping Willow was suppose to be a dangerous tree and if anything stood in their way they would throw a branch at you almost crushing your bone into pieces. "Alice, hold up!" he called rushing up to save her. He normally wouldn't worry too much about the idea but he was a prefect and trying to mature at his age. He didn't want her to get injure or WORSE killed. "Don't run up to the Womping Willow" he added quickly.

"You're an animagus, right?" Alice asked.

"Well I kinda wanted to see it. It's fine if you think it's too dangerous. I couldn't go in without you because you're a prefect. So it all depends..." Alice said. She wasn't joking, it was fine if he didn't want to.

Daniel stopped and caught her by the waist, sweeping her off her feet spinning her around in the air then gently letting her down. "You are crazy!" he exclaimed and complimented both at the same time, his expression incredulous and excited. He looked at her and considered on this for the moment. He didn't want to be seen as a boring person nor seen as a immature jerk as well. He looked at the Womping Willow then back at her, taking her hands letting go of one of her hand then pointed his index finger up, his eyes brows raised. "Alright once, but i cannot guarantee your safety" he told her in a gentle voice, looking into her eyes.

Alice giggled.

"My family is friendly with the Weasleys, ya know, Rose Weasley? Anyways, I heard that they have a cat Crookshanks that figured out that if you touch THAT knot..." she pinted to a root knot on the tre, "it stops writhing. Wanna see?" she babbled. She looked at him hopefully.

Daniel looked at her and nodded at her. "Yeah sure," he said looking at her touch the root knot. He held one of her hands, ready to pull her back if something bad happen, he didn't like the idea of this he felt a little scared. "Alice you sure you know what your doing." Daniel asked watching her touch the knot and the tree hoping it didn't attacked them.

"Daniel, do you trust me?" Alice asked, looking at him. She wasn't necesarily looking for an answer. She turned into a rabbit and dodged all of the branches that swung wildly at her. Her little paw touched the knot, and the tree became rigid.

"C'mon, do you wanna come?" Alice asked Daniel. She didn't wait for his answer. She dashed into the Shrieking Shack, unaware whether or not he was following.

Alice hopped down a little hallway, and glanced at her surroundings. She turned back into a human. Just as she was absorbing everything, she heard a creak from above her.

"What the?" she spoke to herself. Suddenly, a metal support bar above her head fell. Excruciating pain, she screamed, and everything went black.

Things began to look grim. Daniel turned into his black wolf animagus form then charged toward a certain part of the tree that he had to poke to stop the Womping Willow from attacking him. He turned back into a human again still running toward the hole and flicked his wand at the root, hitting it causing the tree to stop attacking.
