So...if people get parental permission they can get married at a young age?!

Christie, I actually do not think it is legal at 15, except for religious matters over in some places where men seem to get several wives. That is different situations, not like the ones we would find here. Still, I could find myself to be wrong, it wouldn't be a first. But still, i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one thinking like that..

You can marry whenever you want anywhere in the world.

Its just weird to marry under 18. 14's just crazy. Though thats my opinion.

I only know that cause I had a friend who's sister went to florida with her fiance and mum and her mum gave consent for the two of them to get married. But no its not common for people to get married before they are 18. But then again in the wizarding world you come of age at 17...soo.

I always though that you were allowed to get married at 18 here in the uk. I'm not sure about other places but I know that you can get married at 16 in Scotland without parental consent. I agree with everyone though, marriage between lower years is absolutely mad and makes this site really unrealistic. There should be a minimum age like 17.
