Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Hey, I thought that was funny. Plus, she does have a good punch. I winced the first time I saw that. Bloody hilarious.

For what it's worth, Gambon did not yell. But that doesn't mean worth **** now. Dumbledore only gets one scene in movie seven, and that scene was like final episodes of Evangelion: BORING and UNNECESSARY, and a bunch of other things that I don't want to get into.

Yeah, Emma was good in this movie. I also liked her in the first and second one. Though in the third, the looks were the only good thing. I, too, like others miss Richard Harris like hell! Like, like he was made for Dumbledore's character! Gambon shouts a lot, and looks evil >.>

Plus, he looks like he's about to coddle Harry to death during the fourth film.
"DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE CUP?" [Shakes Harry like a dog]

That man could hurt someone doing that.

Yeah, he did great with his biggest role in the movies. I'll never look at Malfoy without seeing him Emo again. God that was disturbing, but that made the performance even more great than it already was.

YUP! He was fabulous, keeping feelings apart, better than Emma Watson after all. And I also liked Cormac McLaggen, LOL, when he licked his fingers seeing Hermione! Funniest scene ever! I already watched the movie three times in the Theater. xD

ooook then. I thought McLaggen was just a prick throughout the entire film. They really know how to cast though- I had no idea they'd manage to find a GOOD McLaggen, someone that was even funnier than the d-bag in the books.

LOLZ. Everyone has their own view, I won't contradict yours. Though, he wasn't a major character at all. They could have well put in the Battle of Hogwarts instead the conversation on "Who's got nicer skin?". Gosh, boo to Yates. Rolling Eyes

I thought Yates did that to show that side of Dumbledore that was dumbed down by Gambon. A bit desperate, but I thought it was hilarious.
But no Battle=Grave dissappointment. Screw the HarryXGinny bs. GIVE US OUR *****ing WAR!!!!!!!!!

That 'who has nicer skin' conversation was HILARIOUS!! I'm soo glad they did that. Loved it.
Tom Felton was amazing. I love him. He is just, like, perfect! He pulled off Malfoy really well. <3
McLaggen was cast amazingly, I thought. The Hermione/McLaggen bits were just perfect, lol. Great casting.

Yeah, the battle was a maaajor disappointment. One of my friends said they thought it was left out so it won't seem too same-y at the end of the seventh book, which is a very good point.
