Jasper followed Sarah into the restruant. The smile on his face could not be taken off. He was happy. Nothing would ruin it. They made their way toward an empty table and sat down. "Whatcha going to order?" He asked with a smile.

" I don't know. Probably a salad. i hate taking your money. you know that." She said softly. She looked at at the menu. it had really good food. She just ordered a small side salad with a glass of water. She hated taking his money. She needed the greens anyways.

Jasper sighed and looked down at the table. He didn't understand how she could be like that. "Sarah, order what you want. Don't worry about money." Taking in a deep breath. "Its not my money. It's our money."

She shook her head no. the waiter asked them if they were ready. She nodded, and ordered a small side salad with ranch, and a glass of water. She smiled at Jasper. "its your money." She said simply.

All Jasper could do was stare at Sarah. How could she be acting like this? He had no idea what to do. "I'll have the same thing she is having." Jasper said to the waiter. He looked back down at the table. Not wanting to start an arugument he just remain queit.

She ate him and smiled at Jasper. She looked at the dessert menu. " Jasper, Want to share a piece of chocolate cake." She said softly. She smiled at him and reached across and gnelty grabbed his hand.

Jasper ate his salad in quiet looking up from time to time to take a glance at Sarah. When she asked for a slice of cake Jasper said, "Sure. Sounds good to me." Reaching out to hold Sarah's hand, he gave her a small smile.

She knew she had did something wrong. She pulled her hand out of Jasper's. She quickly got up, and handed the waiter paying her for Jasper's and her meal. She gave Jasper a painful smiled. She quickly nodded. She quickly started out of the place, and down the street. Holding back her tears.

The sudden change of Sarah's behavior took Jasper by suprise again. He was having a really hard time keeping up. It was like one moment she was acting one way and the next something totally different. He looked up at Sarah with what he knew was a very confused look on his face.

She looked at Jasper, and nodded. She slowly got up from th table, and paid for her part of the meal, and rushed out the door. She rushed down the street. she was holding back the tears. She looked down, but slowly they came, and rushed don her cheeks.
