Escape (Gin)

"Oh, its not that." Zoe said not knowing what else to say. It was a little odd being in a room where the other person was so quiet. Zoe tried to think of something that would start a conversation. But nothing was coming to mind. She really wished she knew Gin better. Then they would have more to talk about. But seeing how they were not that close it was very unlickly. She turned back to her drawing. "What to add now?" Zoe said out loud staring at the paper.

Thinking hard about what her mom used to draw and how she made things look better, she couldn't really think of much because she hadn't truely ever paid attention to it. Now she wished she had. No, no, don't get the thinking it was to get something to do when around Zoe, no, it was acutally more because her mom was now gone and she noticed just how much she didn't know about her. It was a loss only figuring out things once people were gone. Sighing at the thought, she bit her lip. She really didn't know what to say, but really, what more could she do to try and strike conversation with someone she hardly knew? They were obviously going to have to get to know each other more if they wanted more words to flow through the air and out from their mouths.

Zoe continued to look at her drawing. There seemed to be something missing. She turned her picture around and around. Looking at it closely there must be something that she had over looked it. Finally sighing she pushed her drawing away. "Guess I will throw that one away too." Zoe was getting very frustrated. Part of her had forgotten about Gin being in the room. But just as that one had forgotten another knew she was still there.

Finally Zoe turned around. Searching the room to see if Gin had snuck out on her. She soon found her. "So." Zoe said with a somewhat cheerful smile. Zoe had no idea how to start a conversation with her. She really wanted to talk with Gin but had no idea what to say. So she kind of sat there with a friendly smile. Maybe if Gin saw that Zoe wasn't going to attack that she would start the conversation. This was never something Zoe was good at.
