Professor Tiquelle walked around the classroom as the students were writing down what symbols they could remember. She peered over their shoulders to see what they were each writing. She was unsurprised to see that they were writing similar things. They could all remember a few, which was a start. They would have to remember a few more before the exam, but they had plenty of time until then.
Professor Tiquelle walked back up to the front of the class, and got a piece of chalk from her desk. On the chalkboard she wrote ten symbols that you may see in a teacup.

"Ok, class. These are the ten symbols which you need to know by heart for your exam at the end of the year. Who can tell me any of them?" she asked, knowing that they all would know at least one or two. They had all seemed to think flowers meant things on their parchment, yet she had never taught them any of this. She decided that they must have heard it from somewhere else as they all seemed to put it. She decided to ignore this fact, as flowers were extremely complicated, varying for different types. Way beyond NEWT level. Even she couldn't remember what all the different flowers meant.
