Changes!!

Ok, some changes. Mostly small. I think. Copy-pasting a list I made last night so yeah xD.

• Move the Plot into a sub-forum under Educational Decrees. It might make more sense there...
  
• Put information topics into the Education Decrees. Including: A Marauders Map (site map, maybe with links - SEE BELOW), the titles thread I posted before (but formalised), etc etc.
  
• Make a sub-forum under the Character (after Character Applications) called Claims (or something like that), where you sign up for your face-claim, magic abilities & fueding forces enlistment (that REALLY has no place in the Daily Prophet.)
  
• Finish Canon Characters, make ALL into one topic. LOCK TOPIC. Make a thread for claiming them. OR Move them with other claims. Also, should the family trees go in with them? They fit together…
  
• Should Discussion be in the Daily Prophet? It used to be, why was it moved out? Just wondering...
  
• Do we need the 4 sub-forums for each house? If we keep them, encourage members to USE them! Gosh…
  
• Why the HELL is the Owlery on the seventh floor? Surely it should be in the grounds…
  
• Move Ministry of Magic out of London. Encourage Ministry members to use it. It deserves it’s own forum.
  
• Make all the Diagon Alley shops into ONE forum, one thread per shop & other threads too, etc. etc.
  
• Move Firebird Bar into WWR (it’s only one thread, c’mon how can this get it’s own forum over the Ministry? )
  
• Rename the Department of Aurors (Feuding Forces) to something applicable to ALL Ministry workers. The Ministry’s Secret Department? It’s NOT general work, it’s planning AGAINST the other forces.
  
• Think of a name for the AMO place where they meet. Not HQ!!
  
• Potter’s Army Post Office – what is the difference between it and PMs? It should either be the characters writing mail to each other, like mail boxes. NOTE: This means that you cannot post at ALL in your own thread, ONLY in other people’s. It isn’t being used right . If it is OOC, we need to establish it from PMs. If there is no difference what is the point of it? If it’s IC, maybe move it to The Character section or something?

I think it's good, you lost me with how we'd do the marauders map, but other than that i think we could all do that.

Marauders' Map = What is in the quote. Basically have that, maybe put links to the subforums too & put it as a thread called 'Marauders' Map' in the Educational Decrees. Does that make sense?
Anyway, some of them (like Diagon Alley) we might have to give the members notice (Shopkeepers we're condensing Diagon Alley into a single forum & taking away the money side to it as nobody uses it. Please make one thread per shop now. Thanks.) so they don't get all annoyed at us. I'm going to start doing some of the smaller things (eg. moving the Owlery) now, and I'm going to cross them off when I do them. Any other admins feeling like doing some work could also do some things.
I'm also getting obsessed with information topics so I guess I could go formal and write some of those too...

Well guys and girl you just got youtself another admin (not sure if that is going to be for bad or good) so I am here to participate so you don't say I am lazy admin like some which I won't name (that does NOT include Sue cause she is awesome).

I am still learning although I know how to manage groups and ranks and user profile stuff.
For the graphic part someone will need to give me a little lesson,

Anyhoo, we should move your wee announcement you have there to a new topic, as it's not got too much to do with anything here lol. Also, Jemma. May i add something to the list? I want to make a prefects/Headboy/girl group, or add prefects and headboy/girl to the Hogwarts Staff, then alter prefect bathroom permissions so only said group(s) can see it. I'm sick of anyone magically knowing the password to it. It's rather irritating.

Anyways, about the Post OFfice I think it's an OOC chat. Now you ask why do we need it when we already have a chat box? Like usual I don't know the answer. Maybe it's just OOC chat, and as it's being used let's keep it.

NO. People are using them. I did move half and then realized that they are being used properly, so let them be in their subforums. Members WON'T get confused. Strikin' it off.
