"You lot don't have any vacant rooms here," Edward said. "I happen to have three. She can use one of the rooms on my side. Now, we need to see about going back and getting her bag. It might not be much, but if it's all she has, we need to try to go retrieve it."
"Agreed," Robert said. "I think we should see if Jack can pop into London, go to the Leaky and get her bag and do that or if he has someone who will go. We don't have any idea if the faepyre is gone but I see little sense in him hanging around unless he is stalking out the room waiting for Jada to come back. What room was she in?"
"Second room on the right," Marcus replied. Robert scribbled a quick note to Jack, asking Jack to either go or send a fierce fighter to the Leaky, to the second room on the right upstairs, to retrieve any personal belongings left there and bring them straight back. He warned Jack there could be a new type of magical creature who could be extremely dangerous, so it wasn't a job for Sam or Victor. Then he sent the message as a paper bird to Jack.
"Now, hopefully Jack can send some to take care of that," Robert said. "In the meantime, though, Minos, how likely is it that Jada Brown is her real name?" Minos shook his head, meaning that he did not believe that Jada Brown was her real Fae name. "I didn't think so," Robert said. "Her story makes me question if there are any records son her at all. She states she has vague memories of her mother, but she states that was when she was quite small. She states she doesn't know what happened to her mother, but she states she was also very small when she was taken to an orphanage and left there. She ran off from there when she was still minor age. She states the 'creature,' as she called it, has chased her for a number of years now. She's been living off of cookies and such. She does not remember when she had a hot meal last. She was, however, receptive to staying with you lot, and when I said we might be able to teach her a sort of improvised sign language, she was receptive to learning that too."
