"We could do that," Angus said. "I suppose just apparating in won't work will it?"
"Nah, Mate. Magic is blocked in several different ways on this floor, especially from anyone popping into or out of anyplace on the floor. We're going to have to be old school for this. It's going to take more than one person even to levitate it because it's heavy," Michael said. "And, if the vent grate is still off of the opening, they'll immediately see light anyway."
"Whatever we do, it makes sense to me that we're only going to get one person through there at a time, and it's going to have to be fast," Angus said.
"Oh, definitely," Michael said.
"She wants me anyway," Angus said. "What about we get a couple aurors to move the dresser, and Ruby, you and Michael and throw up a protego spell to try to shield me from any projectile she might have, and I'll go in and see if she's in there."
"Our protegos won't shield you once you're in a different room, you know," Michael said.
"Yeah, well, I'm not going unarmed. I still have my magic and my wand," Angus said. Michael reached in his pocket and took out a switchblade and handed it to him. Angus nodded, grateful for the knife. "I would think that I could cast a spell or two quicker than her muggle ideas."
"Don't get too confident about that," Michael frowned. "She's been locked up before, and she's nuts and she's irked. That can add to someone's speed under the right conditions."
"I'll be careful," Angus said.
"There's something else that occurs to me," Michael said. "Why haven't we heard Robert calling out to us? We have no way of knowing if he's alright or not."
"All the more reason to find him quicker," Angus said. He looked at Ruby. "Suppose we ought to have a healer closeby in case he's hurt."
"If she's hurt him, we're gonna need a matchbox too," Michael said.
"A matchbox?"
"Yeah, they'll need it to put her ashes in it when I get through with her," Michael said.
