When they made it to the Hufflepfuff common room door he wished it would have taken a longer to get here. He looked at Mads when he said his nickname, only she seemed to call him. "Yes, Mads?" he asked in the whisper back.

Maddison's heart swelled with emotion as Mason called her by her nickname, Mads. It was a name that only he used for her, and it held a special place in her heart. Her heart skipped a beat as he whispered, "I love you," causing her hand to drop away from his.

As they reached the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room, Maddison felt a sense of dread wash over her. She knew that Mason couldn't go any further, no matter how much she wanted him to. "You should probably get going before you get caught," she said, willing her feet to move even though every fiber of her being wanted to stay by his side.

With one final glance at Mason, she turned and walked into the common room, the board closing behind her. She let out a deep sigh as she leaned against the wall, trying to collect her thoughts and emotions. She knew that she had to be strong and face whatever lay ahead, but it was so much harder to do it without Mason by her side.

Mason tried to be there best he could for Maddie. "I love you too," he whispered to the girl. And he meant it really did. He had very deep feelings for this girl. More deep than he did realize even.

He nodded his head and smiled. He watched how Maddie went into her coom room. He sighed when she had gone inside and knew that he would she here again. He knew tomorrow might be even more challenging than today was.

He will always be there for her. He could hear people coming so he soon left to go to his common room. The boy didn't really want any trouble. He went to his dorm straight from the common room, the boy didn't linger around there at all. He just knew he would have hard days ahead.
