"Oh, I'm sorry, Jack," Kate said. "Just didn't fix any. Didn't think that anyone might want bacon. It never occurred to me. I could make some BLT's for lunch, though, I suppose. I'm glad that your little nighttime crew worked out so well. At least we know that's something we can use more often now. I'll give them an extra ration today so they don't need to hunt unless they want to. Help yourself, Kaden, by all means."
"I had that boils business a few days ago, Kaden," Robert said. "I sort of think that its some summer time Hogwarts' students shenanigans. I know that the ministry is supposed to pick up on all the underage magic, but I'm not sure this administration is so efficient. One of the teens I treated said something about a candy that a friend had given them. Some Bertie Botts beans, and this teen was blaming it on the beans. I suppose I should go see Jonathan Belby this morning to give him a heads up on it just in case someone says the candy is bad."
"Oh, that reminds me," Marcus said. "My father said he has the bugs worked out of the wands, and that Abbey should come by soon. I don't' know what that means, but that's the message."
"I know exactly what that means," Robert laughed. "Abbey, would you rather go swim or go see Papa John this morning?"
"Papa John!" she bounced up and down.
"Jeffrey," Robert looked at him, "feel like a trip to Honeydukes this morning?"
"Honeydukes?" I haven't been there in a decade at least. I'd love to go--unless you need me first, Khaat."
"Not at all," Khaat said. "I'll be here helping over there in whatever this clandestine project is you all have going at the duplex."
"Then we're good to go, I think" Marcus said.
"I'll go get you some clothes, Ruby," Kate said, leaving to go get her a change of clothes.
