"We need to see if there is anything here that would tell us who he was when he wasn't shapeshifted into Phoebe. Look for a hiding place to see if his proper identification is here somewhere. Men's clothing that isn't Angus's. Or perhaps some sort of an address to his real place. If this was an undercover flat, then, surely he had a second place--his real address. I want to know who this bloke was. That might lead us to discovering how Gelding is finding these people. If we can find that out, maybe we can shut that access down for Gelding. That would certainly inconvenience him for awhile."
Michael began searching for some sort of a safe in the walls or beneath the floorboards. He didn't know if there was a safe or not, but if there was, he wanted to find it.
Robert got Kaden's message that the remains were logged in at St. Mungo's. Once that was done he ported to Paris to his contact in the authorities, and he reported the corpse and how they had come to find it. Robert promised them complete cooperation, but they waved it aside. They had no desire to try to take over Robert's efforts at stopping Gelding, especially since, by all Robert could find, they still didn't have an identification for the remains. Robert agreed to tell them the moment he knew.
Then he ported to London and followed the same process there, and got the same, very predictable results.
Edward took Angus back to Khaat's, and Angus went back to his duties at managing the estate. He knew that, despite how he was feeling, the tasks related to the estate didn't always wait, especially when it came to taking care of the livestock and all the guests. He found that the children were restless and irritable. He suggested that Owens take the little ones out to Abbey's play equipment, and then he took it upon himself to take the four that were older and decided that, if they were quiet and respectful and gentle, he could introduce them to the unicorns.
