OWL Class One

Isabella then began to think of what she wanted to do that would seem creative but a great use of spells.She sighed and went to get her apple.She sat it down on a table in the back and pulled out her wand ready for the go.

(Evan lookedto his left now notcing the girl sitting there. He felt his tomach titghten but regained control. He grabbed his wand and set it on the table where he sat.)

Davina got her apple, and started silently transfiguring it. She wasn't sure exactly what to transfigure it into yet, but for now she'd just play around with various items. She turned it into a teacosy, then a leaf, then a quill, but she still couldn't make her mind up. She did this in silence so that nobody could copy her as they wouldn't know what spells she was casting.

Sue looked at her apple and wondered what to turn it into. She was really a lot into transfigurtion. She was also very good at it. Not being able to make up her mind, she turned the apple into an apple pie. Later, thinking it was lame she turned in into a picture and at lats turned it into some red coloured butterflies which flew around in a circle. She thought it was stupid, but yet it looked good.

Isabella was good at one particular spell that she could do nonverbally.She took a deep breath and swished her wand at her apple, and it sliced into 4 pieces. She then quietly said another spell, and the pieces turned into a flock of birds that went spinning around at the top of the classroom."Whew...I hope that earns some points...."she said to herself.

Alexi looked around the room, thankfully seeing some progress and not seeing a lot of incompetency. The students were unusually quiet, apparently, predominantly gifted in nonverbal magic. Alexi already saw two results, the first, butterflies. It was interesting, but not exactly what Alexi was looking for. Nonetheless, it was the first class so Alexi was going to give a perfect score. Then, he saw the second result, a flock of birds formed from increasing the number of apple slices. That would also get a perfect score, and seemed more like what Alexi wanted. "Ok class," said Alexi. "You have approximately 10 more minutes."

Alexi grabbed an apple, placed it on his desk, and transfigured it into an hour glass. It would run out of sand in exactly 10 minutes. "Ms. Malfoy, and Ms. Lovegood," said Alexi. "You both get perfect. Great way to start the term!"

Davina was still playing around when she heard she had ten minutes left. Rushing, she was trying to think of creative items. She ended up transfiguring her apple into one of the trick wands you could by at the joke shop in Diagon Alley, 'Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes'. She hoped it would be creative enough for the teacher.

When Alexi saw Davina's result, he was forced to chuckle. It completely took him by surprise that someone would make a joke item. However, Alexi had to admit that he thought that Davina was able to make a real wand, which would be impossible since real wands had more magic than apples and magic was one of the exceptions to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration. "Good job Ms.Corrispur," said Alexi. "You also get a perfect score. Everyone, you now have approximately eight minutes until the end of class. Everyone who has already finished their assignments are dismissed early."

Victory walked in to class, she had been late, but she hoped the professor hadn't noticed.

(Evan looked at the apple confusedly. He then pointed his wand at the apple. He mumbled something and the apple turned into a purple bannana. He wasn't good at transfiguration but at least he tried. And he hoped that was enough to earn points.)
