I'm not sure if those labels are the most clear way of saying it, but we can start a thread and have people state their preferences and add them to a list in this forum so people can reference it.

Those can be sort of the standard, and then you specify from there?

Again, if this is too much of a hassle, I get it. I'm just a SUCKER for a shared reality, and think a cbox helps pass along info that you'd only get from either reading everyone's threads or making a point to tell everyone on the site.

No, I just mean they either have to be defined or re-named. When I first read them, I didn't understand them. But it would just be, Either you respond to the thread, or your characters are fair game for rumors. So if they want to respond then fine, but they wouldn't have to.

I don't think involvement in the chatbox needs to be specified. You'll either post or you won't. But maybe it can be

I Do Not Want Rumors About My Character Posted
Bio Rumors are Fair Game
Bio Rumors & Open Thread Plotting are Fair Game
Everything Is Fair Game

And then we specify - remember to be kind, treat rumors as such, not as facts. Be brutal with your own characters but considerate with others.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I have no idea what Bio Rumors are, but that sounds fine. Some people may have different preferences depending on the character but they can specify if so.

Oh, so in the bio there are "Facts Known About Characters" and "Rumors Known About Characters". So rumors mentioned in your app!
