You said I'm too much to handle

She has 13 days before next full moon. There were times when she wouldn't even try to think about full moon because it was so pointless, but now it's almost everything she cares about.
Beatris bit her. So now, Katya was a werewolf. It won't be her first transformation, though but she felt like every time is hard as the first time.

At school, people used to hate her because she was Greyback, now they will hate her because she was the beast.

Anyway, since she had few more days before she starts preparing for the full moon, she decided to go for a walk. It was her day off so she didn't have anything else to do. Sure, there were few orders for potions, but she can do that tomorrow.

She went to the Diagon Alley. Even if she lives here since she was nine, this is still her favorite place in London. That place is always full of life, no matter if it's day or night.
Katya bought an ice cream (even if it's cold she loves ice cream) and sat on the bench. She decided that she will just watch people passing by, everyone going to finish some of their business.

She was sitting for half of hour or more when someone passed next to her but she could swear she knows that guy.
"Cass!" Katya stood up and started walking toward boy even if there was no way she can be sure it's him.

For the past three years Cassabian has been pushing his luck to lengths no one should. After leaving his parent's with barely a handful of coins, Cass has been experimenting a few jobs here and there to pay for his rent. Till the moment being he hadn't found the right one yet as he didn't seem to hold it for more than a few months. Still, he needed the money which wasn't much and easy to gain, so he would stay with what he got for the longest he could.

At the moment being he was working at a shop in Diagon Alley and his boss has just asked him to go grab a list of supplies he had in hand that very moment. Reading the list for the second time he stroke a line on what he had and decided where he was to go next.

He was so into the heat of the moment that he barely missed his name being called somewhere. However, his subconscious pointed out to him that someone was calling him and so he stopped and looked around looking for who could have called him. In between the crowd between him and the person in question he thought he could tell a pretty known face and smile when his suspicions were but correct. "K-k-katya" he stuttered a bit being out off breath from running around, that was never helpful to his speech disorder. "Hi. Ho-how are y-ou?"

Cassabian was out of his breath but now, Katya was sure it was him so she smiled and hugged him. It was a long time ago when she last saw him, probably years but she was really happy to see him. Back at school, they were friends. He didn't care about her last name and she didn't care about his problems with speech. So in all this madness, she was going through, it was really nice to see familiar face.

"Hi. I'm doing fine!" she smiled again and looked at him. "How are you? It was years since I last saw you! How have you been?" she finished her ice cream and throw the paper in the trash.

Cassabian hugged her back as she did. It was good to see a familiar caring face after so long. Back at Hogwarts it was never easy for the boy with such horrible speech disorder that made all his spells a complete disaster. Having people judge him, laugh at him was easy but not real friends. He was glad that Katya turned out to be a friend in the end.

He smiled widely as he pulled back to have a better look at her. "G-good. I mean, still trying to figure some things out, but really good" he said as always hissing ever 's' and 'th'. "And y-ou? W-what has become of Katya?"

Katya remembered everything about Cass that happened back to school. Every joke about him, every laugh... Back then she couldn't do anything but be his friend. And she was glad that she was.
My seeing him today was fate or some kind of those stupid things so they can be friends again.
She looked at him and he was different. All grown up.

Katya learned how to ignore his problems with speech, sometimes, in past, it took her some time to realize what he said but now she was able to understand him perfectly.
"Of Katya... Hmmm, let me see" she paused while thinking what to say. What is she? Beast? She decided not to tell that for now, just to be sure she doesn't scare him off.
"I became a potions maker. I think that is all. How about you?

It was funny if you think about it. Cassabian hadn't had much news coming from his school mates for the last couple of years, Katya included, but seeing her that day at that hour it was as if nothing had ever changed. As if they were back in Hogwarts' halls or wandering around Hogsmead many street's in looks for candies or such. Cassabian smiled at the thought and let the memories took over for a moment as Katya seemed to be thinking of what to tell him.

"That's wonder-r-ful!" he exclaimed remembering how much Katya liked potions back at school. It was sort of one of his favourite classes too; well, those that didn't envolve wands and spell casting... "I'm-m working at a shop at th-e moment" he said and showed her the bag he was carrying. "S-sort of doing fe-fetching work right now."

"It is" Katya smiled and nodded. She always loved potions. It was her favorite class back at Hogwarts and she was really good at it just like Cass. But when it comes to Katya, she wasn't sure if she would ever be able to do anything else. Potions are just her thing.

"That's good," she said about his job and smiled when she saw the bag full of unknown things in his hand.
"Do you like working there?" She asked curiously.
"By the way, do you think you have time for coffee? I'm really glad to see you and would like to talk a little bit more." For some time after the Hogwarts, they used to write the letters to each other. But then, many things happened and for some reason, sending letter just stopped.
"If you don't have time for the coffee today, we can go out sometimes. Maybe after this full moon" she immediately stopped when she realized what she said. That is why she started looking at the ground rather than looking at him.

Cassabian smiled as he agreed with him. He was happy to know that Katya had found something to do that she really loved. He just hoped he could find something like that for him someday.

"Well, not par-rticularly" he had to admit - it was Katya he was talking to; he couldn't really lie to her. "But it pays-s for th-e r-r-rent, you know. And it is like my th-third th-is year. I really n-need it" he told her shrugging a little. Honestly he didn't care much though, he was still browsing.

"Actually I have to g-get this done" he still had the list in his hand and waved it a bit in front of him. "But I g-guess I can steal a minute for y-ou" he added thinking about the pros and cons but other than that thinking of what he wanted to do.

((Question: does Cass know about her being a werewolf? I believe you had it in her profile that she first turned after Hogwarts. So unless she had told him about it, he wouldn't know...))

(She was turned about two or three months ago and nobody knows beside Beatris. She said about full moon by accident)

"I'm so sorry to hear that. I hoped that ypu find something you like" she was sad because of him. She really was. He was good boy, or man, and he deserves all the luck this world can offer.
"What about music? Do you still write songs?" Katya remembered him when he started to frite the songs for the first time, they were young but his songs were beautiful. Katya always believed that he would get popular at some point. He really has a gift.

She really hoped that she could spent some time with him, to catch up with everything that happened in their lives. Maybe even to tell him about her being a werewolf. She had a feeling that this secret was easily destroying her. She needed to share it with somebody but she just didn't know how to say that out loud.

"Well, I have an idea. We can grab some coffe and then I can help you to buy everything you need. On that way you can finbish your to do list and we will still spend some time together" she smiled at her own idea.

Cassabian smiled a little at that. For once in a very long time he knew that she was really upset because of him; it was not like the other telling him stuff like 'better luck next time'... "It's j-just for a while" he said. "I'm still looking for anyth-ing better anyway" he shrugged a bit. "But for now it p-pays the bills."

About music that is a more complicated topic... He still played. At some time he started playing covers as a street performer to gain a few extras but nothing much. He was shy to show his own sheets to the public in general. He remembered being terrified to show some of them to Katya just in fear she wouldn't like them... "Here and th-ere. But noth-ing s-spec-cial" he had to admit.

"Well, it's quiet of a l-large list" Cassabian told even though he was only missing a handful of things at that moment being. "Y-ou s-sure y-ou want to come?"
