Hello everyone and meet Rose - a new addition to the Potter's Army family! She is a fifth year Hufflepuff student who is rather fond of plants and animals and is very loving towards everyone in general.
Unfortunately for the the pure blood enthusiasts who'd rather hang around with rich folks and royalty of the magical world she is a muggle born who has been dancing and performing in ballet ever since she was a child. But she is not a judgmental person despite seeing and even experiencing corruption and poor treatment here and there.

What does someone like her need?

Friends - this is a good starter! Rose loves moving around in companies and she enjoys listening to the tales of other folks. She is very loyal and never reveals anyone's secrets (there's always a possibility she'd most likely forget your secret, so there's also that).

Enemies? Well, one can try, but being as loving and caring as Rose, it is hard for her to hate someone. Having those who dislike her is always an option, although she would not go and have a fight with the nemesis per say. Instead you'd receive a home made card, maybe a cupcake on your birthday, and that's it.

Lovers - oh, she is a romantic person and having a boyfriend or a girlfriend would excite her a lot since she has never been in a relationship, but at this point, despite her being this kind of a girl who falls in love easily, she is not experienced so her partner has to store up some patience before Rose manages to get used to that. But she'd be very sweet in that aspect. Cute letters, drawings, flowers, home cooked cakes etc - there are plenty of other gifts she'd give to her lover.

I've got three students, one professor and one ex-professor that she would know as a fifth year. If you look at this list here, you should find Apollo, Christian, Nicole, Keiran and Declan. They match the first sentence of this paragraph, in order But the list might give you more ideas than me trying to write up something new about them XD

To me people like Christian, Nicole and Keiran seem nice!
But oh gosh, it is very late here now for me to start plotting. I will return to you tomorrow with, hopefully, some fresh ideas (I personally imagine she and Nicole would be great friends because of their love towards the magical creatures and there's a high possibility that Rose would also end up working with them after graduating!).
What are your thoughts on this, though? Got anything specific in mind?

Ace Longbottom, 6th year, Hufflepuff, and probably your best bet. She's a bit intense. She recently posted a notice calling for Potter's Army involvement. I noticed Rose had leanings towards PA, so she could approach Ace, though she might prefer to approach Christian Zabini.

Then I have

Molly Weasley, 6th year, Ravenclaw, silent and reclusive.
Margo Richards, 6th year, Ravenclaw, party girl and busy body.
Julian Kapur, 6th year, Gryffindor, horndog but well intentioned.
Teddy Lupin, Curative Magic professor, former counselor.
Lily Luna Potter, Potions professor, hides from her students.

Ace sounds good to me! I mean if she was the one who made a note such as this and with Rose's desire to bring more good things into this world, she would be the right (if not perfect) fit to describe the whole situation to her and involve Rose into it (I thought about making her part of the PA but had not thought of a plan as to how she'd become a member). The fact that Ace is intense would not even annoy Rose in the slightest as - well... take a look at her? She'd probably not even notice it.

Also, whom I found interesting in your list:

Casey - she seems very tragic and perhaps Rose would try to help her regain some meaning and positive vibes in her life? Perhaps a good friend for starters?

Finn - I assume the two would know each other considering that they both are from Hufflepuff. Rose would probably be mesmerized by her large blue eyes and consider her an interesting figure. Another friendly approach here possibly?

Julian - oh that poor boy! Although Rosie is not exactly the right person to do that, but perhaps she'd try to help him in keeping up with the classes, become friends with him? She'd be totally fine with everyone avoiding him as the trends seem to avoid her too.

And Teddy! With Rose being dreamy almost 99% of the time, do you think he, as a former counselor, would try to give her some advice or guidance before realizing that the way she speaks and does things is not an act or a way to get over a traumatic experience but real her? But in the end the two can just have some knitting sessions in the evenings and a nice cup of tea.

A lot of those sound good! I'm currently swamped with threads so we'll have to pace ourselves out. The most urgent would probably be getting Rose into PA - we actually don't have people put it in their app, because we want it plotted out. I have an open thread with Ace here if you want to toss Rose there.

I also have an open thread with Finn here. Maybe we could start with those two.

My list needs to be updated, so I won't link you here. I'll just tell you bout some people.

Clair Sauvage :: 5th year Ravenclaw
I noticed Rose's app says she hates violence - well, Clair is notorious for that.
I think he'd probably either take advantage of her (especially if she got a crush) or just find her really annoying. He'll probably bait her, but he does that with everyone.

Clytemnestra Lux :: 7th year Slytherin
Might respect Rose's prowess at ballet, if she knew about it. Might just think she's a flighty Hufflepuff. Cly dosn't consider anyone an enemy but it doesn't stop her being unpleasant.

Lucy Weasley :: 6th year Hufflepuff
Lucy was bitten by an acromantula in second year and was held back because of that. She hates Potter's Army. But other than that, she's pretty reasonable.

Darcy Driscoll :: 1st year Ravenclaw
Darcy's also a muggleborn, and she's very quirky. She'll probably try to warn Rose off making cupcakes because it could get her killed. It's a Darcy thing.

My other hoggies characters are:

Selwyn Thorfinn - deputy headmaster
Destrey Ashcroft - the defence against the dark arts prof.
Christian Thorfinn - Selwyn's brother, first year Slythie

I would love to give Nicole some older friends to kind of keep her on the right track. She's easily capable of going a bit rogue/dark if led astray. Even though that could also be fun, I'm not sure what the plan is with her XD It's very up in the air.

TBH, if you post with Christian, Apollo will butt in eventually, but Christian is much nicer. If she wants to join the PA, like Jackles said, Christian is someone she'll need to know eventually, even if he doesn't recruit her. He's probably the more friendly and chill of the two Huffles leading it, but he can also be a littttttle shy if he doesn't know how to chat with someone. So that's totally up to you.

Keiran is going to be your go-to if your character has problems with Transfig, another student, or wants to take an apprenticeship at the Ministry. He can set that up, give lessons, or dole out heavy punishments as needed. It's really up to you where you want her plot to go
