Staff Lounge (RP)

At first,Gabrielle didn't say anything.She took her Tawny owl and wrote a letter to Minister. "I will talk to the Minister this weekend." was all she finally said.

Jemma had been quietly listening to their conversation. She hadn't heard about the attack yet, as she wasn't the type of person to listen to much gossip. A vampire attack. That was pretty bad. She wondered what would happen about it. Still, it was technically none of her business.
She saw Gabriella get a quill out and start to write a letter to the Minister. She seemed to write to the Minister a lot. She was probably quite good friends with him, Jemma thought. She ought to be careful what she says around her then, Jemma thought, making a mental note. The Ministry didn't care too much for the Order sometimes, they didn't approve with some things that they did.

Gabrielle finished the letter and put it onto Mickey's leg: "To Minister Mickey and try to be fast." she said letting her owl go through the window.,

Will entered the lounge. She hadn't been by in a while. She saw a few others already inside.

Moldy Goldy made an entrance in the lounge. Very few of the teachers knew him, and he didn't know any of them, but he laughed giddily and shook each of their hands as if they were old friends. He paid no heed to the fact that it was severely uncomfortable for them to be plunged into the icy cold of his ghostly hands. "My name is Karrit Gold! Moldy Gold to the living." he said, introducing himself. He was one of the few ghosts that wasn't offended by the prospect of him being dead.

**NEW DAY STARTED WHEN KARRIT GOLD ENTERED** (considering there had been no post for months...)

Jemma had been sitting in the lounge marking exams. It seemed to be all she was ever doing these days. She was startled when she was interrupted by what seemed to be a member of staff. The only thing was, he was a ghost. She remembered the Headmaster telling her they had an unusual teacher, but this, this she hadn't expected at all. The fact that he called himself by what sounded like a student-given nickname seemed somewhat odd. He then proceeded to shake their hands, oblivious to people's reactions. Most people didn't like to touch ghosts, it felt like they were touching ice cold water. But you didn't get wet. "Er, nice to meet you, I'm Jemma Tiquelle." she introduced herself, putting her hand back firmly by her side. It was freezing now.

Gabrielle was sitting on the chair in the corner revising some ministry papers since she didn't have much students on her classes.She looked at the man who just entered inside the common room.That Moldy Goldy sounded rather weird. "Good morning Mister Gold I am Gabrielle Delacour,Vice Minister of Magic." she said wanting to examine this rather excentric professor so she offered him a hand for a handshake.

Moldy Goldy continued to take each hand in turn, shaking it jovially and vivaciously. "Oh please good Vice Minister, call me Moldy!" Karrit said, blushing a little (which looked very odd on transparent pearly white cheeks).

Professor Gold then noticed how uncomfortable everybody seemed with his joviality. He rolled his ghostly eyes. "Oh, would you prefer me be boring? I can if you want." he said in a bored, half asleep, mock-serious voice.

Jemma couldn't help but laugh. Karrit...well, Moldy, was quite entertaining. He was one of the oddest teachers ever. Apart from being a ghost, he seemed a lot more joyous (sp?) than most people. He was already dead, he didn't have to worry about the war, she figured.

"Ok, Moldy!" Jemma replied, half-joking. "No, don't be boring. It's just half of us still have exams to mark so we're not in the lightest of moods." she explained. Plus, Voldemort was rising, she thought.

Karrit nodded gravely. He had never had to grade exams, but with so many students he imagined it to be a tedious and tiring time of the year. "Oh I'm sorry!" Karrit said. Then he laughed again, "But it will all be over in the blink of an eye!" he said. Now that he was immortal and so old, each day seemed to pass in ten minutes... each year passed in a week. But for humans, so mortal, so young, so worried about the littlest things, it would seem like an eternity.
