Going steady, finally (Chcocola )

It was warm..well warmer than it had been and for once it wasn't raining. Brant walked down the pavement to where Chcocola lived he was going to do something he had never done. He as going to ask her to go steady with him. He'd been out on dates with her for about a year now and he felt now was the right time to ask her he just hoped she would agree. His hands were sweaty s this for him was a big but long awaited thing, he loved her so much he wished it was an engagement ring but he knew for her he would take it slow and maybe in a few months he could change the promise ring for the engagement ring.

He saw her home and smiled as he walked up the steps and knocked on the door the small box holding the promise ring nestled into his pocket as he stood waiting for some one to answer the door, his fingers brushed through his hair as he stood trying to smooth out any that might be stood up.

Well Chocola was alone at home right now, her parents had gone somewhere, she didn't really bother to ask it. Her brother was somewhere too, she wasn't sure anymore what he was up do. Her sister had moved out for sure now. Cho was bit of surprised when she heard knock on her house too, she didn't expect anyone to come to visit her.

She walked downstairs and opened the door. When she saw Brant there she was surprised even more. She didn't really expect him here. "Hey," she said there after few of seconds later of starring at him. She really wasn't sure what else to say or ask. "How come your here?" she still asked it somehow. Not maybe the nicest way right now but she was curious for sure. She did love him and she knew it by now for sure but she wasn't really sure how to say it yet out or so.

Brant smiled as he saw Chocola open the front door he heard her voice as she asked why he was there and he suddenly remembered why he was. " oh I was wondering if you'd like to go for a walk or maybe just spend some time together because there's something I would like to ask you... Don't worry its good nothing bad I promise." He said as his mouth went dry his hand in his pocket fidgeted with the small box.

He hoped she would invite him in as it was cold standing out on the front steps of her home. He couldn't hear any one else in the house so took it that the others were out some place.

Chocola smiled at him awhile he did talk. "Oh I see," she said there now. "Come in," she said to him and did step aside from the doorway to let Brant in. "I'll go and get something warmer from my room and I'll be right back," she said and looked at herself. She was wearing just jeans and t-shirt actually. It was even cold for her to stand there to that doorway for time being.

"Don't worry about my siblings or parents they won't be back any time soon," she said there now with a smile. Well it was basically true. She was sure that her parents won't be back for awhile. They didn't tell where they went but they lately are barely at home. So most of times house is to herself or it's empty when she is at work.

Brant watched her step back so he could enter. He saw her move up the stairs he closed the door behind him and looked around moving to the living room where he sat and waited for her to return. He loved spending time with her, she calmed his inner turmoil that no other person could.

He opened the small box and smiled looking at the ring he'd chosen with her in mind. He hoped she would like it just as much as he did as he had one similar but for a man that he would wear to show he was promised to her and he would never brake that promise.

Chocola walked upstairs and do her her room. She opened her closed and looked the clothes there. She had no idea what exactly she should wear has warmer clothes. She didn't really have that many of clothes in closed, most of her clothes were in suitcases actually. She haven't really unpacked her suitcases since she realized that her closed was way too small for all these.

She sighed and soon left her jeans, t-shirt on. Just did put jumper on. She doesn't really have to dress about for walk outside. She looked at mirror a smiled. She did put mascara and lipgloss on and brushed her hair. After that all was done she went back down stairs. She decided even put on her coat, so she would be bit more warmer but that a bit before when they went out.

She saw Brant sitting on sofa in living room. "We can go now," she said there awhile putting on her shoes and coat actually. She wasn't sure what Brant had in mind.

Brant jumped at her words and chuckled slipping the box back in his pocket. standing he moved to the door and opened it for her and stepped out on to the steps.

Once she was by his side again he took her hand gently in his own as they walked down the street." Have you had a good day so far?" He said deciding to start a conversation with her as they walked. Now he hoped for the perfect moment to ask her as they walked towards a park he had seen with some flowers blooming in it still. "Chocola, we've been together a while now haven't we." he said and smiled " and you know how I feel about you."

Chocola smiled and walked out of door after Brant had opened it for her. She did lock the door even, just in the case.

Cho smiled when he took her hand and they began to walk somewhere. "Yes, my day has been quite good. No fights with parents today, which is good," she said there with a small smile. "What about you?" she had ask back. She soon saw the park where she used to play a lot when she was younger. She had so many good memories here. She listened what Brant said next and she wasn't sure where he goes with it. "Yes we have been together for awhile now," she said there. "And you know how I feel about you," she added.

Brant lifted her hand to his lips and kissed the back of it gently smiling as they walked together. She had been his rock in everything mad going on she had brought him back to sanity when he thought all was lost and he didn't want to lose her.

"Chocola I guess what I'm asking.." He took a deep breath in and steadied himself as he spoke again." Would you consider going steady with me." He asked as he retched into his pocket and took out the small red velvet box. Opening it he held it up " its a promise ring, a promise that to you I will see no other women as your are my one and only, will you wear it?" He his heart now beating hard in his chest.

Chocola smiled when Brant kissed her hand there. She didn't really blush anymore that badly when that happened like she had done it at first. She listened what Brant said there and looked at the ring even.

She was speechless there. She knew something like this would happen already. She looked at ring and then back at Brant. "Yes I will wear it for sure," she said there finally. She liked the idea of it. She would always wear it, she feels same way about Brant and she would be always his and actually he would be hers only and one too.
