'Too bad...I am'
Alexi sighed when he had heard this. Alexi's blood yearned for something dangerous, but he was a staff member of Hogwarts, and this was a student. Recreational duelling was not allowed, unless you were specificall assigned to train someone, and even then, this was recreational. He wondered what ideology to follow, his instincts, or his common sense. It seemed to Alexi that his common sense was, fortuneately, winning as he opened his mouth to speak. "Sorry, I'm not permitted to duel you," said Alexi. However, even as Alexi had spoken, he knew that he was still gripping his wand. What Alexi didn't know was whether he was holding it just in case the boy would attack him, or whether he wanted to make the first move.
Momentarily relinquishing all thoughts of duelling, Alexi took a moment to analyze the boy again. The boy was very aggressive, so Alexi concluded that he was in Slytherin. At the same time, the boy looked a little young, and apparently seemed impulsive, stubborn, and arrogant to have challenged someone older than him. That was both a Slytherin and a Gryffindor characteristic. However, on the boy's robe was the Slytherin insignia, silver and green, which had obvious implications. And now, Alexi had to guess the boy's youth. It wasn't easy to tell, but he was definitely not a senior, not old enough to be considered a prefect, that was for sure but how young was he?
