All in all it's the perfect scene and there's not anywhere that I would rather be

It was finally Hogsmeade weekend, something that Athena was nervous but excited about, was this hers and Vaughn first date together?  Athena was honestly freaking out, she sent a letter to her best friend Dariela to have her help with what outfit to wear, honestly Athena was a total mess.   This was her first date and it was with Vaughn,  who she really liked and loved and wanted to look perfect for him.  Although she knew that Vaughn didn't care what she looked like, she could show up in sweatpants and she'll probably look beautiful to him.  Seeing how it wasn't that cold yet, she decided to wear a creme color dress lacy dress with white flats with her hair up in a clip.


Just to be funny, Athena told Vaughn to meet her in Madam Puddifoot's tea shop.  Although Athena knew that they weren't those type of couples who made out with each other,  of course they kissed a couple of times, but never made out with each other.  Although at the thought of it, Athena blushed a deep red and giggled and smiled to herself.   Although Vaughn was sweet and caring towards her, he didn't force her to do anything that she didn't want to do, and she loved him for that.


Walking into the tea shop, Athena found a table in the corner of the shop and giggled to herself.   Seeing a couple making out not to far from her Athena shook her head brushing her bangs out of her eyes.  Deciding to get some tea while she waited for Vaughn Athena  looked around the pink tea shop to see if he was already here waiting for her.  As her tea came she thanked the waitress as she took a drink of it, it wasn't bad, it was actually very good.  She heard despite this being the biggest and hottest make out place in Hogsmeade, they made great tea, which they weren't lying.

Vaughn headed out of the castle and down to Hogsmeade telling Athena he'd meet her at Madam Puddifoot's tea shop. He was wearing his dark blue jeans with a button down dark blue long sleeved t-shirt with his black leather jacket and tennis shoes. He didn't have much in ways of dressing nice since he left all that back home and only went for functional clothes that would last the school year. His hair was left messy since he couldn't do much with it because of how out of control it was. He walked down saying hello to some of his fellow Gryffindor's and then took a deep breath before entering Madam Puddifoot's.

He looked around the shop trying to find Athena when he spotted her in the corner of the shop. He felt the breath leave him when he saw her. He broke out into a huge smile as he strode towards her, his grin was large and goofy. "You look beautiful Athena," He said as he sat down in the chair beside her and took her hand in his. He brought it to his lips and kissed her hand softly, "How are you today sweetheart?"

Athena blushed and smiled. "Thanks Vanny love, I wanted to look nice for our date."said Athena blushing. Athena looked at him from head to toe and smiled. "You look very handsome as always."said Athena. Athena giggled as he kissed the back of her hand, it wasn't like the couples in here kissing each other's faces off, but the small things he did to her made her blush. "I'm good Vanny love, although I'm extremely good now that you're here."said Athena kissing him softly on the lips.

"You want to go somewhere else Vanny love? just thought we'll meet here to be funny."said Athena giggling. Athena looked around at the couples making out with each other and blushed at the thought of her and Vaughn doing that once again, she looked down at her tea cup. Although Athena didn't understand the pleasure people get by kissing one another's faces off, she wanted passionate kissing, not trying to tear each other's faces off kissing. Athena scooted her chair closer over towards Vaughn and laid her head on his shoulder, she intertwined hands with him before looking up at him smiling.

"Your welcome sweetheart." Vaughn said intertwining their hands as the waitress brought him a tea. He thanked her and smiled when she said he looked handsome. "I wish I had something a little more dressy but I didn't think to pack anything like that." He saw a few couples who you couldn't tell where one began and the other ended. "That's good, I'm doing better as well." He kissed her back and smiled.

"Well how about we finish our tea then go for a walk around Hogsmeade. Maybe look around the shops get something sweet?" He suggested with a smile. Seeing her scoot her chair closer to him made him smile as he slowly sipped his tea. He didn't look at the other people that were in there since most of them just make out and nothing else. He would never understand why most people thought that making out in public was a good thing. He shook his head as she rubbed his thumb along the side of Athena's hand softly.

Athena giggled. "You don't have to get all dressed up for me Vanny love, I love you just the way you are."said Athena kissing him softly on the lips. "I'm glad that you're better, sorry if I made you sick, I feel horrible that I did."said Athena. "Although I love your messy hair, that's probably one of my favorite things about you, although you're perfect to me."said Athena honestly. Athena honestly loved everything about him, his eyes, his smile, his hair everything.


Athena nodded and smiled. "Sounds like a plan to me, besides I don't want to watch these people eat each other's faces off any longer."said Athena honestly. Athena took a drink of her tea but she didn't leave Vaughn side, she refused to leave it. Athena knew that people made out in public just for show, she thought it was stupid in her opinion, she thought things like that should be on your own time. Athena thought it'll be more passion if you did it just the two of you alone, she didn't know, but that was how she felt. She sighed happily to herself as she started humming a song softly to herself, it was a song her mother sung to her when she was little.

"Well this is a date so dressing nice is required." He said with a smile kissing her back. "It's not your fault I think we got sick at the same time. I don't think you gave it to me. We didn't have all the same symptoms as each other." He laughed softly "It needs cut so it doesn't look as horrible, look like i crawled out of bed five minutes ago." He hugged her close to him as he fiddled with the tea cups handle.

Vaughn who was drinking tea at the time nearly spit it out at her next comment. After swallowing the tea he began laughing at her words. "Yes well they must be zombies if they are trying to eat each other's faces off." He whispered to her so that no one could hear what he said. He finished his tea and as soon as Athena finished hers, he took her hand after paying for the teas. He lead her down the cobblestones to take a walk around Hogsmeade. Looking around he took her hand and ducked between two buildings before ending up near some wooded area. "I think this is more our style. Peace and quiet as well as no people trying to eat other's faces off." He said as he found a stump and sat down on it, he took off his leather jacket and laid it on the spot beside him.

Athena giggled at his reply. "I don't care what you wear Vanny love, as long as I'm with you."said Athena giving him a soft warm smile. Athena laughed. "Yeah I remember that, but I felt horrible, turns out that I had a stomach bug that was going around."said Athena sighing. Athena giggled. "Hey you should see me when I wake up, my hair is horrible!"said Athena laughing. Athena laid her head on his shoulder enjoying the last bit of her tea..


Athena laughed. "Oh my Vanny love, we should go before we're their next victims." Athena whispered back to him giggling. As they walked our of the store and down the cobblestones, Athena wondered where they were going. Athena smiled as she seen that they were alone in the woods. "Yes it is more our style, I like the peace and quiet and only your company, it's nice."said Athena kissing him softly on the lips. Athena sat down beside him as the wind rustled through her hair making her smile, she loved the fall time, all the leaves changing it was so pretty. "My family is coming to Hogsmesde for my birthday, it's on Halloween, they usually take me out for my birthday would you like to come?"Athena asked him.

"I know but I still wanted to look nice for our date." He said with a small smile wrapping his arm around her shoulders hugging her to his side. "I just had a twenty-four flu, thankfully." He smiled at her next words. "So that's what takes you so long to get down to the common room in the morning." He teased her softly.

He laughed at her words, "They want to eat out bbbraaainnnss." He said making a zombie noise beside her. "Yeah it's peace and quiet that makes the most out of everything. When it's quiet it's like you can hear how the earth 'breathes' so to speak. The wind rushing through the trees kicking up the leaves and when near the lake you can hear the gentle lap of the water against the shore." He kissed her back and sighed softly taking everything in. He pondered her next question and said, "Do I have make sure I have my anti-hex gear on?" He grinned at her mischievously. "I can have my parents send it in the mail so I can be prepared when I meet your dad."

"Maybe the next date we have you can look nicer then what you do now,although like I said before, you look sharp and handsome to me."said Athena. "I'm glad yours wasn't as bad, but sorry you were sick love and I couldn't play nurse with you and make you feel better."said Athena smirking at him before giggling. Athena laughed and pushed him playfully. "Hey! Takes awhile to tame this mess, or else I'll walk around like a lion with his mane all puffy and messed up."said Athena laughing.


"Ah!!!! run for our lives!!!"said Athena laughing so hard that she was holding her sides from laughing. Athena sighed softly to herself, relaxing to the sounds of Mother nature around her, it was so peaceful and quiet, something Athena liked and found relaxing. "Your'e right love, you can hear the voices of Mother Nature speaking to you, with ever rustling of the wind to ever drop the water makes against the lake to shore."said Athena closing her eyes taking it all in. Athena laughed at his comment. "No you don't, but around my brother Alex you do, better bring it just to be on the safe side just in case he comes!"said Athena smirking at him. "You know what they say better safe then sorry."said Athena winking at him before giggling.

"Yeah maybe next date I will be able to. Well I only look like this 'cause I asked a house elf if there was a way to iron my clothes. They were rather wrinkly when I pulled them out of my trunk." He said with a small smile and a slight blush to his cheeks. "It's not your fault, I was gonna get sick sooner or later sweetheart. Maybe next time you can play nurse and make me feel better." He said laughing and laughed harder when she pushed him. "It can't be worse than mom when she wakes up in the morning. Her hair looks like she put her finger in a socket with how much of it stands up."

"Remember they don't run very fast, we just have to power walk past them." He said laughing as he watched her face when she laughed. He smiled and took a deep breath of the fresh air that whispered through the trees. "Sometimes when I get angry that I want to punch something. I come outside and take in everything around me and it calms me. Though it doesn't work every time it still helps every now and then when I'm not as mad." He said with a sigh as he looked up at the sky seeing the owls flying around. "Yeah I think no matter what I'll have to wear something. I'm not a fan of being hexed or anything. I think that they'll be protective of you not matter what happens."
