The orchestra classroom seemed to be more of a second home to Madyson than Hogwarts was. Sure, one could argue that the classroom was within Hogwarts, thus making the orchestra classroom a home within her second home, but other than her true home in Britain, Madyson had truly felt like she belonged when she was in the orchestra classroom; a feeling that the Hufflepuff Prefect hadn't felt in other parts of the classroom. The orchestra classroom was a place where her wildest dreams really showed. One could tell by the way she knew nearly all the notes to All I Ask Of You, her favorite song from Phantom Of The Opera, by heart that she had the desire to be casted as the role of Christine in the show, which would be something her lower alto vocal range wouldn't allow, one could easily hear any song from Phantom Of The Opera and know that it would take a strong soprano vocal range to play the part of Christine, which was just something Madyson didn't have. Madyson however, accepted the fact and it didn't spurn her musicality for other projects.
Madyson had just finished her last class of the day, potions, which she wasn't too fond of. It wasn't that she was necessarily bad at potions, but more that she didn't want to accidentally add too much of a ingredient and burn her face off or something. So after quickly going to the common room to change into a sweater and sweatpants, her usual norm these days, she headed off to the orchestra classroom.
Her latest musical thing is creating mashups of songs she felt went together. Unlike most people she went to school with, Madyson had quite the fondness for older pop songs. Not too old however, things from the pre 2020s were what she adored. Her current project was two songs by Ed Sheeran; Photograph and All Of The Stars. Her current problem was the fact that they weren't in the same key, so she had to write most of the score herself. The transition from the first verse of Photograph to the chorus to All Of The Stars was what she was currently having issues with. She liked the way e major sounded, but it would be difficult to incorporate in later into the song. Maybe she could benefit from a break, before she had knew it nearly forty five minutes had gone by.
