Esmeralda walked the long way home because she felt like something was telling her to. She doesn't know why she wanted to follow this feeling of having to travel this way but she had never been steered wrong before. She was going home from work and it wasn't much of a distance the long way from her home. She was wearing her favorite pair of slimming black jeans and her favorite dark blue blouse paired with her four inch black boots.
The sun was sinking faster as she continued on her way home, the colors that spread across the sky mesmerized her as she walked. The pinks that lit up the sky as well as the purples that spread across the clouds that were scattered across the sky. The sun itself look like an bright orange ball sinking into the horizon slowly like a ball loosing air and flatting. She stood there watching and when it was dark she shook her head as she began making her way back towards her home. She walked through the park that sat across from her apartment, she stopped half way through the park and looked up at the stars. She smiled seeing many of the constellations that she knew and looked for more as she walked along looking down every now and then in attempt to be careful of her surroundings.
Esme then came up with an idea, she walked to her house quickly. She walked into her home and grabbed a checked blanket from the back of her couch. She walked out of the house and down to the park with the blanket draped over one of her arms. She found a group of trees that had a canopy that opened up to the sky showing nothing but stars. She laid the blanket down spreading it out evenly before laying down upon it to look up at the stars. She smiled as she found the constellations that she could see from the angle. She heard a meow close to her and leaned up on her elbows to see the black cat from Diagon Alley. It came up to her and laid down next to her as she laid back down absently petting the beautiful animal.
