“There we go all set,” Addie said dusting off her hands. The teen had sent off the invitations to her team mates on the quidditch team early that morning, the decorating was done, and she had just finished setting out snacks and drinks. All that was left to do was wait until someone showed up, and she hopped someone did soon.
Everything had been set up in the Roseberry’s basement. Off at one end there was a large screen and large plush chairs where Addie liked to sit and watch old muggle movies. In the middle where she stood over looking everything there was a large open space grate for dancing, mingling, or what it was typically used for yoga. Then off at the other end is where Addie and her brother Quincy use to sit and play games, this area had evolved as the two of them grew older into whatever they wanted it to be and now it was just perfect for a party. Which is just what Adelaide intended to do.
Adelaide was dressed in a simple dark blue dress that stopped just above the knee so it wasn’t to short and it wasn’t too long, and a pair of black lace up ankle booties. This kind of outfit had become her go to and it was easy to dress up or dress down. Today she had chosen to dress it up a little with some simple yet pretty jewelry. She carefully chose to wear a silver feather necklace the pendent resting in between her collar bones, a pair of studs with sapphires that matched the color of her dress, and stepped it up a bit with her floral bracelet that doubled as a ring.
