A Letter from the Department of International Wizarding Communications
Hello, all!
Things are changing a lot these days, and life at the Ministry of Magic is no different. That is why I am massively excited to finally announce the news. A new department, as named in the title of this letter, has been created to encompass entertainment of all sorts. This includes our International Games and Sports Department, which has been brought into the fold, so to speak. But we also have some new names and faces among us.
The Ministry of Magic is proud to present to you all our new leaders in Entertainment, the Divine Wizarding Network. The name, as you might have noticed, parallels the idea of the Daily
Prophet, which has been included within this network. DWN will be running a Television Station ("WNT" for Wizard Network Television), as well as a Radio Station (called "KDWN"), to go along with our newspaper. Quidditch match coverage, shows, musical artists from the Wizarding World, blurbs about the news (and more!) will be offered through the three outlets.
It is a large department, and there is already a whole lot going on, which we cannot wait for you to see and be a part of. Hopefully, this new marriage of our wizarding community and the new technology will be a happy one.
We are looking for enthusiastic new applicants, and hope to work with many of you in the future.
Best,
Keiran Hayes,Head of the Department of International Wizarding Communications
