"Then you'll be happy to know I question your sorting based solely on your lack of guile," he said.

"I prefer more watertight methods.  It's much easier to get people to believe you're serious when you have photographic evidence," he went on, "and it's much easier to get photographic evidence when you pay someone to obtain it for you."

"Observe, Hayes.  This is how real Slytherins get things done."

"Yes," Keiran drawled unenthusiastically, "thank you."

He wanted to roll his eyes again, but the other professor did have a point. "Fine. So we get someone to take pictures. Who do you know who would do that? I've got a friend who does some photography, and he doesn't exactly have morals or anything, but if you've got someone in mind, by all means. My.. friend, I guess you could call him, he probably wouldn't even ask for compensation."

"I don't know how you ever survived at school if you can't handle a bit of ribbing," Selwyn commented, a delighted grin spreading across his face. "I thought you were unpopular?"

"If you know someone, by all means engage his services," he went on.
